I stared at my son who was once again looking at the huge windows and seemed drifting. I felt truly concerned as he's way too young to be zoning out like this... as though seeing or thinking about something  that's really sad. We were also shocked at what the au pairs informed us...

That my son has started speaking and uttering, mimicking words without our knowledge. It was accidentally discovered by one of the au pairs when he was left in his play pen. According to the au pair, he appeared as though he was talking to someone and he giggled a lot.

"I- I was able to record it your highness and also asked people to review the CCTVs in his younger majesty's room.. It's true...Prince Rurik is already uttering words... clear words, your highness with minimal stutters. Very common for babies. It could be that his young majesty has started way earlier than we expected. Also, he refused talking in your presence which is somehow questionable,  your highness."

Daniels worriedly eyed my son who was looking depressed like this is truly hurting me. He doesn't want to speak when I'm around?... but I'm his dad and we're always together. But why? Now I feel worried. My heart is hurting seeing my little Romanov looking sad like this.

I sighed and took my son, sat him on my lap. Still behaved and just looking at us...

Usually he gets excited when I take him but now, he's just looking at me. I asked him if he's sleepy... but his little mouth remained shut. I pulled him in my embrace and kissed him...

"Are you angry at papa?..."

I whispered, not expecting anything until my little one spoke with his tiny voice in just above whisper.

Mama-mama-ma...

Mama...

I looked at him and was both shocked and felt thrilled. Different emotions consumed me and I even started tearing up. Hearing my little one speak for the first time...
