"Stay out of the way!"

I screamed as my friends worriedly approached us as I began rushing away from the room, with my unconscious wife safely secured around my arms. I also told them or rather commanded them to remain where they are and never follow us. They didn't even try to conceal the disappointment on their faces, but I didn't care. Learning that not even one of them comforted her during her lowest point truly angered me. I just found this out from Chiron,lately. Although this was relayed by Wintour, I felt a sense of betrayal. I was truly doting with his woman even against his will and when it came to my wife, there was nothing but silence from the royals.

I felt truly disheartened as Chiron told me the whole detail.

I was even thinking that Ruis would never beg for help but she did and they set her aside.

When we reached Peterhof, while waiting for the royal physician, Ruis woke up and refused to be checked by the doctor.

I never wanted to press for something that might worsen her anxiety so I just asked the doctor to leave...

She remained frozen on her spot and it took her while before she was able to speak again.

I held her hand...

"T-this might be an inconvenience to you b-but... I would like to return back to P-Plyos as soon as I can. I cannot stay here... my mind's-"

I squeezed her hand. So tight that it frightened her.

Probably thinking that I was completely against the idea, she began trembling again;

"N-no, my love..."

I pulled her in my embrace as to comfort her uneasy mind. It wasn't my intention to scare her, I was just... I felt really sad seeing her like this. It was more of self loathe rather disappointment.

"You will come back to Plyos, I assure you that..."

Her head rested on my shoulder and my embrace, now tighter. But what truly saddened me is her trembling. Everything was too much for her and yet, she still came. She says worried about me and her son facing the people alone. Also considered what people might think of her absence. Still thinking about this royal family who sadly destroyed her peace.
