Sarah:
"Your husband... is really something, isn't, princess?"
I wiped my hands as Sarah in such an amused way, suddenly uttered those words out of the blue. Recalling the time when we opened the boxes of nibbles and finding bundles of cash instead of the chewy cakes I was craving for. I finished the other boxes so quickly, of course sharing some with everyone.
I sighed and sat on the chair to take a quick break.
"I knew they weren't from Daniels. Knowing him. I asked prince Chiron to return them back to him."
Sarah then pouted;
"Well why did you anyway? I mean...he's obviously showing signs of affection. Like he didn't want you to maybe worry about your needs."
I smiled at her;
"I'm okay."
Sarah then reached for my hand;
"Of course you are. You're in good hands. They'll have to kill us first before they can get to you..."
I smiled;
"That means a lot."
He squeezed my arm with a comforting smile... then a question followed;
"So what is he like? As a husband? I'm really curious and fascinated. I mean not really a fan of royal life but... you two are so... fascinating to look at. Like real life fairytale you know? It's like you're both made for each other."
Sarah's eyes had a glint of glee and romance in them as she asked her questions. Like a younger child eager to hear a fairytale story. Her chin propped on her hand... standing at the other side of the baking counter in an early morning baking routine.
I looked up and recalled how it all began...
