I felt my whole world falter.

I had a secret conversation with my wife's psychologist after she had a three-hour session with her earlier today. I was outside the lounge room which turned a temporary room for us. I watched after our little one while my wife was having a clinical counseling with an expert.

Kynnei offered to help but I told her to do something worthwhile and I'll take care of everything.

The rest of the guys already flew to their perspective countries. As promised, I had the elite Soviets guard them back home. Now it's just us here; me, my wife, my son and Kynnei.

We will be spending the rest of the year here, together.

I actually 'still' have tons of work to do. Royal obligations left and right...

As well as my service to the Russian Marines and Navy.

But the most important priority is my family.

My wife.

So I refused every single obligation.

As well as someone's birthday.

Taehyung of South Korea.

Like I don't have time for any of these stupid celebrations.

And I won't be coming anyway.

Surprisingly, I wasn't summoned back to the palace.

I wasn't asked a lot of questions.

As though we all had a silent agreement.

It's good then. I need to stay here.

For the past couple of days...

I felt like I am living  in a different world.

A more peaceful one.

Away from all the things I am used and grew up with.

The royal in me may not admit it...

But living as a commoner in a somehow comfortable state, isn't that bad.

There's a sense of tranquility which is a far cry from the world of diadems. No wonder...

My wife doesn't want to go back there anymore.

She love it here.

And now I can see why.
