Humming quietly, Skye would walk on the hot grounds of the volcano plains. Arms crossed, she would look around the area, blinking at all the.. Well, volcanos. Which really wasn't a surprise, given the name, but it was still a cool sight to see. "Remind me of why we're here again?" the wind fae asked her friend, letting out a breath.
Walking alongside her best friend, Natalia's brown waves cascaded down her back, causing the girl slight discomfort. As they continued to walk, she'd group her hair together, pulling it into a ponytail. Sealing the updo with a tight vine, she wore a content smile. Turning to Skye, she replied. "To see the volcano city!" Natalia chirped, nodding her head. Hollowed winds blew past the trio, as they glided through the sky with little effort. Warmth in the air began to increase as they entered the volcanic plains. Her long hair rippled as their pace decreased, beginning to descend to the ground. Lucienne's hand held itself atop Miyano's thigh, keeping him stable while the other held Mirri to ground herself on his back.
In the distance, she spotted a familiar pair. Two fairies— one of wind and one of nature. Her verdant gaze shifted forward, guiding her dragon to a landing. Mirri's freckled wings folded, and he lowered himself down to allow the couple to slide off of his back.
Hot lava was found near the side of a volcano, oozing down from the slight crack it came out of. Small pebbles and rocks stumbling down as tiny movements of the mountain shook from time to time. This was normal with the ongoing lava nearby, constantly wanting to break out. And in the midst of the hot air were two fairies of opposing elements atop of a mighty dragon. A boy of midnight black hair and a girl of shining blonde hair. "Are we here yet?" He questioned.
Lucienne sighed, "This is the 10th time. Yes, princess, we're here." She joked, hopping off. Her hands reached forward, guiding Miyano off of Mirri. She then turned to the approaching pair. "Heya, you two!" The blonde called.
Miyano chuckled, knowing of Lucienne's sarcasm. "Why thank you." He replied, hopping down smoothly, with the guide of Lucienne. He waved his hand around to feel the scales of Mirri, a sign of gratitude for the arrival of the volcano plains. Luciennes voice grew in volume as she walked over to very familiar fairies. With the help of his echo-location spell, he made his way over to greet the two.
She opened her mouth to respond, but was interrupted by a rather sudden loud noise behind them. Confused, she turned her head to the direction it came from, her smile instantly dropping when she saw the dragon and the pair. Not that she wasn't happy to see the fairies, just.. not the dragon. "Oh.. Hey." The damsel said, inching away as she spoke, clearly uncomfortable.
As the group came closer in distance, they would exchange greetings, recollecting on recent sights. "So what are you guys up to?", Miyano questioned, wondering what the two fairies of wind and nature were up to.
The girl noticed the wind fae's hesitant demeanor. Tapping Mirri's leg a few times, his wings spread open, casting a shadow upon a pretty large scale. Then, with a few passing gusts of wind, he was up in the air. Navigating himself away from the group. Lucienne expressed her greetings yet again, fiddling with the strapped weapon on her thigh.Since it was her idea in the first place to visit the Fire Kingdom, she happily explained their intentions. "Ah, I wanted to take Skye to see the—volcano city! I think that's what its called? I remember Lucienne mentioned it before." She nodded, a radiant smile spread on her lips. Natalia wasn't too sure where the place was, but it probably wasn't too far from their whereabouts.
In the dark depths of the volcano plains, lies unknown creatures who have yet to be discovered. Hidden amongst diverse sizes of boulders, stood behind a creature dressed head to toe with black fur. and horns shaped of an elder goat. With a body reaching up to 7 feet in height, and a clever disguise, a shadowed figure came into view from where the group of fairies were standing at. Moving away from the rocks and boulders, a perfect view of a back profile of a fairy was shown. For its disguise was effective many other times, it too knew what to this time again.
She let out a small breath of relief as the dragon left, much more relaxed now. The fairy allowed Natalia to explain, fidgeting with her clothes. Although she was focused on the conversation, she was also looking around the location. Which is when she spotted the shadowed fairy. "Is that another fairy?" she commented, squinting at the figure.
The light and consistent breeze of the plains was interrupted. The presence of another was near. Mirri surely didn't stay near. Her gaze darted to the mysterious fairy, her head snapping to them. They seemed quite tall.
