Skye sat somewhere off to the side, a bored expression on her face. Her crutches lay beside her. With her still leg out of commission and her wings busted anyway, she still wasn't healed enough for her physical classes. She could've made the argument that she could use her magic to complete the activity, but the teacher didn't budge on it. Stubborn Duskfeathers.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎With nothing else to do, she plucked one of the uncommon flowers that had grown from the ground, tossing it back and forth. Occasionally, with the help of a little spell, she would throw it upward, tracking it with her eye as it slowly fell back to where she was. And repeat. Paying little attention to what the other students were doing.
Some kind of activity. Where you would get a bracelet, preventing you from summoning your wings or using them. Then you were tasked with climbing a 100 feet course to get the key at the top. How ironic. If she didn't have that blue cast around her leg, she would've beat everyone here by now. Just with wind carpet. But in this class, she didn't see a single other fairy of her own kingdom.

Of course, she couldn't ignore the colors of flames. Her eyebrows raised in surprise at the rotating flamethrowers that were just suddenly.. there. This school certainly had an interesting way of teaching their students. It made her a bit grateful to be injured and excluded from the activity. Silently, she reached into her pocket, pulling out a handful of popcorn to eat as she watched. She had restocked recently.
Unfortunately, she eventually ran out of her snack. Did these teachers just use Orchid's classes as an excuse to torture children? She thought she would get used to everything, but this garnered even some level of surprise. The damsel messed with her hair, sending a strong gust of wind in her face to reset it when it got too bad.

   "Good Job students"
The teacher greeted with an oddly joyful tone. Usually she would be quite stoney and nonchalant. What could be going on under that pretty facade?
"I congratulate you all for making the long and troublesome climb to the top of this pillar, If you are expecting a reward... I'm happy to disappoint you."
And there it was, the 'but' factor of the teachers happiness. Before long, a crystal clear dome surrounded the top of the Pillar.
"For my history lesson, you will be paired into pairs and will be answering a 30 item quiz about the history of Excavalon during the war. No phones allowed, no peeking at other pairs quiz and I will personally be pairing you. Once you are paired it is final. No exceptions. Understood? Good. If I catch any of you using phones, cheating, or anything else other than Focusing on your work a total of 5 points will be taken off of the total score you and your pair will receive by the end of the quiz. You will be given a time of 40 minutes to answer tour quiz. No more, no less."
She said with a blank face before yanking a sheet of paper out of her messenger bag and started to pair the students of her choosing.

She let out a loooooong winded groan. This time, she would have to participate like everyone else in class. Floating her crutches towards herself, she got off the ground, heading over to where all the other, exhausted students stood. Sure, she'd probably be fine for the quiz. But it was annoying.

As she scrolled through the parchment, she started to announce the pairings. She did hope that they wouldn't complain, she'd mark them ZERO. ♡   " Skye Evans and Octavia Blackstone

Octavia? She tried to match the name to a face she knew. If she was correct, she was another student in her wind, a fae of nature. The girl scanned the people around her, eventually spotting the one she suspected to be her pair. Sighing, she slowly headed over there, taking a minute or two to cross even that small distance. Still not used to using the tools.

"Oh, you're Skye? You're even prettier than I thought. This test is making me nervous, I'm not very big on history.." She sighed, propping her hands on her waist. She wondered if she should pass out some snacks to calm other students' nerves. That'd take too much time.

She showed little reaction to the compliment, given how she knew how she looked right now. All she gave was a half-shrug. They would probably figure out the hard questions together. Soon enough, the test had already started. It was a bit odd they were doing this outside, rather in a more controllable classroom, but she wasn't a teacher.
