Abandoned Park.

Playing some idle game on her phone, she followed in. This was yet another of the many, many times she's had to go to an amusement park because of this school, abandoned or otherwise. What's the harm in it? She wondered if the popcorn in this place was as old as the popcorn she had in her pocket..

you hear a rumbling in the distance and a flow of water ...,

She barely glanced up at the rumbling sound. Bit strange that there was water here, but maybe that related to one of the rusty rides.

As she focused onto the sudden noise, he appeared behind Skye. Kazuo then jumped his hands onto his shoulders and roared into her ear. "RAAHH!"

The random sound was, well, not at all scary. But it was quite bothersome. Her hand lifted up and pushed him away, too focused on the puzzle on her screen to actually figure out who had done that. Skye was too tired to do that today.

Kazuo huffed out of frustration. He then approached her again, looming over her shoulder and staring at the game she played. He then pointed his finger "Nuh uh. You gotta do it like this, stupiidd!"

Her elbow connected directly with his stomach. Ouch. Then she continued on with her game. She proceeded to the level, letting out a groan.

He coughed. Kazuo stumbled back, holding his stomach as if his organs were crushed. With annoyance, he sent water into her phone to turn off the device. He stood, arms crossed, waiting with a mischievous smile on his face.

She watched water fill into her phone, halting her steps as it short circuted. A long, drawn out sigh escaped her lips. She threw the phone up, summoning a cloud for it to rest on. Then she spun around and walked over to Kazuo. "Whats your deal?" Her voice was barely controlled, but her fury was painted all across her face.

He finally got her attention. His finger raised, flicking her forehead. "Hehe. I just wanted to see your face. It was shoved in your phone. You looked stupid." Kazuo tiled his head to the side, stuffing his ear into the fur of his coat.

She grabbed him by the shirt, not even reacting to the forehead flick. Did she even feel it? "Take the water out. That phone cost a lot."

Kazuo grinned, leaning closely to her face. He took the water out and splashed it into her face. The Seawing's distraction allowed him to slip away from her grasp. His laugh was heard, still.

The girl sputtered the phone-water out. Gaze darkened, she dropped the phone and checked it. Then she dried herself off with a simple breeze. She'll get back to him later. Orchid was only so big. For now, she returned to her game.

Muttering curses at her game as she died once more and her score reset, she was too preoccupied in her anger to even look where she was going. She was suddenly snapped back to reality when the next step she took landed on nothing, and she toppled over. Easily adapting, she summoned a wind carpet to soften the fall. "What the..."

Suddenly stumbling upon a cart, he fell into a sitting position and realized he was strapped into the seat by an un-removable seatbelt. Kazuo struggled, frowning. "Well what the hell?" And when Skye spoke, he lit up his fins and realized who he was seated with.

Her face soured when she heard the same annoying voice. Of course. Was this karma for not taking the trash out of the dorm? Sorry, Natalia. She'd do it when she came back. Slipping one of her tucked away daggers out her boots, she attempted to cut out of the seatbelt. It didn't work. What was this made of, steel? Not like she could fly out of here anyway, she guessed..

Kazuo laughed at her attempts. "Well if you can't get it out then I guess we're stuck!" He said this with a lot of enthusiasm for someone doomed to sit next to a buff person. Kazuo flapped his subfins annoyingly.

"Mmm.." She crossed her arms and sunk into her seat. The ride began to move, all on its own. Her focus was less on that and more on the awful music that was now playing too.

Kazuo sang along with the music. His voice wasn't bad at all. But, he was doing it to annoy Skye. A couple times his subfins smacked her face and he apologized very.. unenthusiastically. He also sometimes kicked at her ankle.

Over the course of her first year at Orchid, she learned how to control her emotions better. Specifically, her anger. Not well enough for Kazou to get out unscathed, though. One of her shoes stomped aggressively on his foot. Her metaphorical bar until explosion rose.

Kazuo winced, "Um- Rude much?" He flicked at the side of her head. He was surprised by her strength. It interested him! He wanted to test her limits, so he stomped her foot, too.

Skye grabbed both of his arms and slammed them into his torso, sticking them to his sides. She did the same to his legs and feet, so he'd be rigid and boxlike, and no longer touching her. "Stay like that. Don't move." Moving on if she hadn't even spoken to him, she placed her hands in her lap and looked around. A moldy odor wafted through the air.

Kazuo rolled his eyes. "Or whaaatttt?" He snickered, going out of the posture she put him in and leaning closer to her face. His subfinds flashed wildly to annoy her even MORE!

Had this guy ever heard of personal space? And why did he smell like fish? And the ocean? She liked the ocean. Not him though. As gently as she could, she pushed him away by the face.

As her hand was placed on his face, she gnawed at her palm gently with his razor-sharp teeth. Kazuo found her reactions fun. It seems like her buttons weren't often pushed. He had to stop this!

She quickly drew her hand away, slapping him with the backside of it. A mark was left on his cheek. Blood dripped down her palm. She wiped it off on his clothing. Gross.

Kazuo tapped his chin. He didn't like the fact they were stick. And.. wasn't this a love ride. He glanced at Skye. She wasn't ugly. He liked the slope of her nose. Kazuo spoke up, "So.. y'know.. maybe if we kiss, we can get out right?" He said with an evil smile.

Kazuo leaned closer to Skye, his intentions clear.

"What?" She instinctively leaned away, completely taken aback. The damsel's face went entirely red. Whether it be from her being flustered or furious, who knew. Probably both. Her mind panicked, and she did the only thing she quite knew how to do. In an instant, her fist connected with his face. Quite the amount of teeth went flying.

Kazuo was nearly knocked out of his seat. His teeth were scattered and thrown into the water. Blood spilled from his lips, his mouth slightly open as it stained his lap. Kazuo looked up at Skye and proceeded to spit blood and saliva onto her shirt as payback.

But, thanks to his clan, there was already a set that started to grow in. After a week or so, he'd show her out of spite.

"You little bitch." Luckily their ride seemed to be coming to a close. Her parting gift was another slap to the face, one with quite a lot of effort into it. Then she dove into the water to wash off the muck, before climbing out and drying herself off with wind. Grumbles could be heard from her mouth as she walked away.
