The girl had an excited expression on her face, a mad grin spread across the lower half. A scarf was wrapped around her neck, scarred arms covered by a puffy jacket. Around a year ago, she, her friends, and Lucienne had taken a trip to the ice pole. They had a blast there, though she didn't quite appreciate getting tackled by Kai back then. This year, they hadn't had the chance to do it again. And although they weren't all here today, she could still have some fun again with the ones who were! Namely, the one who had tackled her, whom she was walking beside.
Though this year, it wasn't a hangout planned by the 5. It was a field trip, hosted by one of their teachers, so many other students were there as well. Maybe an all out brawl(snowball fight) would occur! That would be fun.
A tall fae stood out from the rest, cold wind blowing through his ebony hair. Let loose for once. Snow falling around him which he seemed to be mesmerizing by. A long trench coat was layered over his clothing. A thick turtleneck and trousers keeping his body warm.
Despite him being able to do that easily with magic. He simply didn't want to melt the soft snow. Boots laid on his feet, crunching the ground beneath him as he walked, leaving behind footsteps wherever he went. A hand was stretched out, covered by a knitted black glove, collecting the falling snow. Glad that it didn't melt.
Kai was content with simply standing there in the coldness, kept warm by his choice of words. Recalling the memory of coming here his freshman year with a group of classmates that included his now two best friends. One stood next to him, having arrive together minutes prior. Skye.
As the students approached, Mr. Liu smiled and greeted them. "Welcome students. As we enter the ice pole, I expect you all to be on your best behavior throughout the entire field trip."
Mr. Liu wore a long white coat, a grey scarf wrapped around his neck. Given he was a wind fairy, the clothing weren't actually necessary as much. His blond hair moved with the cold breeze, tied into a ponytail.
Bundled up in a fleece jacket, Ms. Hart trailed off ahead of the students in a constant, energetic stride. Once the other fairies arrived at the area, she camo to a stop, opening her mouth to greet them with a warm welcome.
"Hello, everybody! Glad you all could make it. If you have any emergencies, you may look for me. Please explore the area and enjoy this opportunity to the fullest!"
"I wanna get back at you for last year. It didn't feel great to get charged at by a flying fire fairy and tackled, y'know! Plus, do you know where Nat is? I couldn't find her on our way here," she said, chuckling at the first part. Her shoes dug into the snow as they walked, leaving light footprints. Her hands were shoved into the pockets of her clothing, as they were quite cold.
Walking besides her, he looked down, listening to her speak. Chuckling at that memory. "I only did that because you threw a snowball at me. I'm not sure. Hopefully she got here alright." Kai responded, swerving his head side to side to look around for the mentioned teen. She was probably already building a snowman somewhere.
As she was looking around for the brunette nature fairy, she would notice someone else, another one of her friends. One she had no spoken to in quite a bit, but still cased about nonetheless. Eyes lighting up, she'd cup her hands around her mouth, stopping in her tracks to call out to the white haired wind fairy. "Azure!! Hey!! Over here!" Another smile had formed on her face, happy to see her friend.
The wind fairies ears perked up slightly as she heard a familiar voice coming from the other side; it was her friend Skye. Unfortunately she hasn't been all that active and hasn't gotten the chance to talk to her friends much anymore, so this a pleasant surprise for her.
"Ah, hey Skye!" she greeted as she walked up to her direction, a soft smile plastered on her face.
Kai stared off into the distance, soon getting distracted by his own thoughts. Wondering how tall he should make his snowman once he started on it. Skye's sudden shout snapped him out of it and he turned, spotting the fae who's name she called. Not recognizing her so he went back to thinking about the snowman he planned to make.
