Idly popping her knuckles, Skye slid into the auditorium, sitting into the nearest seat she could find. What did they want this time? Knowing this school, it could never be good. As she waited for whatever that was so important to be announced, she picked at her nails, muttering something about getting them done soon.

An eerie aura emerged from the dark shadowed crevices of the auditorium. A black gas lingered in the air beneath the floorboards which then spiraled among the stone ceiling and plastered walls, engulfing those within it unaffected. It jumped towards the stage and plunged into the ground revealing the fairy of darkest nights — Mr. Axel. His boney-cold wings sprouted from his dorsal, emitting a strong presence. His elongated hand raised towards his face as he cracked each of his fingers, one by one, awaiting for silence amongst the crowd of the young students.
The midnight eyes darted around the auditorium to identify any misbehavior that might occur during this important meeting. The cold room was filled with fairies, eager to know of what could be announced to them whether it be about their behavior, success or something entirely different. With his back straight, shoulders aligned and stomach firmly in... it was clear Mr Axel had something crucially important to announce.

At the sudden darkness, her eye flicked around, recognizing the teacher before he even revealed himself. After all, who else would be able to do this? Though she wasn't particularly stoked, since he was the one who usually lectured them for misbehavior

The palms of his hand came into contact which produced a deafening sound that followed after silence within the room. All eyes were finally on him. Attention had been secured. "Good Morning Students of Orchid. You are gathered here today for a very special meeting. After hundreds of years, The Eaferion Nationwides Duel will now restart this following month. Now, this may have been unheard of in your generation but after the completion of the War, it has now been brought up." He declares, whilst walking along the stage and hands placed firmly behind his back. "Has anyone here heard of this event before?" He then asked curiously as he scouted the area for any looks that might have caught attention of this upbringing.

She blinked. What in the world was that? History was never her strong suit. She too looked around the room for anyone who knew what it was, the "duel" part of the name piquing her interest.

"Well then... the Eaferion Nationwides Duel is a competition between the two highest ranking schools in terms of education, magic power, skills and morale. Orchid School of Fairies has been nominated to participate in this competition against one of our rival schools located in the Wind Realm - Faedmiam Talaity Academy. These fairies of this school are extremely intelligent and certainly powerful. You should not underestimate them. Later today you will all be spontaneously challenged with obstacles and you must overcome them. It is all about your reaction time, how you solve these problems and what will the outcome of these problems will be. It may seem confusing right now but you will all understand fairly shortly."

Oh, that'd be fine then. She was a wind fairy too! And she loved competition, even if she wouldn't win. Taping her fingers on her legs, she remembered that school to be the one her dad almost sent her too. A part of her wished he had.

The dark fairys grand figure again stood tall as he peered over the crowd. Amongst were faces filled with fear as well as some filled with upmost excitement. *"I see most of you have taken some interest just by that mere description but don't you all worry. Only 10 fairies will be chosen to participate in this competition, the rest of you all be watching and observing how your fellow classmates have managed to achieve such a position. The preparation plans will be starting very soon and when I mean soon I mean... NOW."* With a snap of his finger, the floor beneath the fairies of where they were say disintegrates into nothing, causing all the fairies to fall into the vast depths of the void below.
