White silk draped off the couch. It was past noon. All alone in the dorm, still in her nightgown. Unfinished chocolate lay on the table, which she would have to clean up. Sometime. It didn't matter, it would just be her in the room for hours more. For it was Valentines day.
She had no lover.
Maybe she never would. That was something that was seeping into her mind lately. Of course, she had friends, which she was grateful for. But she rarely talked to any of them. She had never felt so.. Alone. Natalia has Melody. Kai has Rhine. A random freshmen his girlfriend. Fuck, even the crazy psycho she fought against seemed to have people, maybe even a someone. And she had no one.
Feeling at all these days seemed to be getting harder and harder. Orchid was what it was always like. Dangerous and daring, a place to fight and be free. That was a dream like place for her when she first came. Proud but anti-social, it was a place for her to be strong, without it being weird. She didn't have to be dainty and delicate. Now.. now it was a place for her to pretend once more. Keep on a smile whenever someone did talk to her. Otherwise, there was always a scowl on her face. No wonder people didn't like her.
She wasn't likeable. Coldhearted and stand-offish, she didn't like to form connections with others. Really, it was a miracle she had as many people she could call friends as she did. They never ended up going deeper. Her scar made her face ugly and she didn't exactly have nice hair, bobbed and stormy colored. Though she was strong, she couldn't even say she looked it. A sleeper build. There really was nothing going for her.
Shoving another piece of dark chocolate into her mouth, she looked off. Barking could be heard from her room. Given there was no one else to be here.. she had brought Breeze back. In her sulking, she had forgotten. Pushing herself off the couch, she walked over, only to be hit in the face. Laughing weakly, she let the animal lick her face. At least she'd always have Breeze.
Loved alone.
