Three Dixon's

Chapter 2:

"Hey" says someone behind me.
I turn around and notice a boy with blue eyes and black hair.
"Hey there" I say
"You really socked t-dog and Shane" he says
"Well that's what ya get when you mess with the Dixons" I say turning back to the water
"Well my names Carl" he says nicely
"Im Hailey" I say getting up and turning towards him and extending my arm.
He takes it and shakes it
"Well you have a strong grip" says Carl shaking his hand
"Again that's a dixon thing" I say
"Well that's pretty cool" he says
"I know" I say fixing my beanie
"Well Hailey, it was nice meeting you" he says smiling
I can't help but smile back
"You too" I say kissing his cheek and walking off before he says anything.

"Hey Daryl!" I yell out but I'm cut off by an old guy
"I'm dale and your brother went to look for merle" he says
"Oh okay" I say grabbing my stuff I dropped
"Well I'm headin to a tree. Always gotta be safe" I say
He nods and says "be careful"
"It's none of your concern mr" I say climbing a tree. He doesn't say anything back so I just climb up the tree and hang my bag on a near by branch.

I put my loaded crossbow on my lap and close my eyes for a dreamless nap.

I wake up to screaming and moaning.

"Ahhh" they yell
"What the h-" I stop when I see the dead everywhere

Oh no.

I pull out my knife and climb down the tree with my crossbow in my other hand.

I shoot down one of the dead down and stab another one.
I then drop my crossbow and stab atleast 3 dead down.

But that's when I see Carl and Lori behind Shane so I stab my way through but that's when I hear gunshots and turn my head, regretting it because one of the dead pounce on me.

I shout for Daryl or anyone and that's when the dead person's brains blast all over me.

"Eww" I say pushing it off and noticing Shane shot it
"Thanks" I say wiping off the gunk the best I can
"Hailey, Are you okay? I heard you scream" asks Daryl
I nod and say "perfectly fine. Where's Merles ugly ass" I ask
"That son of a bitch cut his hand off and jumped out a window. Hes gone" says Daryl
"See I knew he was a dumb ass" I say

I punch his arm playfully and say "well atleast your okay" he nods and walks towards Rick.

I sigh and run back to where I dropped my crossbow but that's when I notice a lady near her bitten sister.

"Omg.." I say walking towards Andrea
"I'm so sorry Andrea" I say kneeling beside her
"Yea.." she says
I nod and get up and walk towards Lori
"Hey " I say
"Hi Hailey" she says plainly

I roll my eyes and just climb back up my tree and fall back asleep until morning.

"Hey Hailey. Get your lazy self up and let's go" says Daryl
I sigh and grab my stuff, climbing down the tree
"I'm down" I say
"Let's go" he says walking towards his motorcycle
I follow him and hop on the back
"Let's go then" I say
"We're headin to the CDC sis so be ready" says Daryl. I nod and put my junk into his motorcycle pouches.

"Wait ain't the CDC that control of disease or somethin like that" I ask
"Well I honestly don't know." Says Daryl
"Who does" I say looking off into the distance

Flashback

"Hey" says Andrea
"Hi" I say as I walk towards the girls washing clothes
"Want to help?" Asks Jacquie
"Sure" I say grabbing a shirt
"Omg I really miss my washer right now" says Andrea
"I miss my phone" says Amy
"I miss my Coffee maker" says Jacquie
"I miss hunting and good ol venacen" I say looking off into the distance
Everyone laughs at that
"What about you Carol?" I ask
"I miss my vibrator" she says
"Oooh" Is all we say before Ed comes over here
"What you girls laughin at" he says
"We're just talking Ed" says Andrea
"Well you need to do more work and less talking" he says
That snaps me and I feel anger boil up.

"Hey Ed, if you want work done quickly how about ya pitch in" I say grabbing a wet shirt and throwing it at his face
"I'm not scared of you" says Ed
"Same here old man" I say putting my hand on my hip
He glares at me and says "Carol, come on or you'll pay for it later"
"What so she can come back in the morning with fresh bruises" says Jacquie
Ed reaches out for Carol but I stop him and say "you hit women. You deserve this then"
I punch him hard in the face, making him go back.
"You don't hit women and I bet you hit that little girl too" I say punching him again.

I then push him on the ground and stand above him, punching his face until he's bleeding.

"Don't you ever hurt them again!" I yell "You got that"
"Yes" he says

I get off and look at the girls and Carol running towards Ed so I go to Carol.

"He deserved this Carol don't feel bad for a guy like him. He probably woulda killed ya after a few more years" I say remembering the day my dad almost killed me

"But it's your choice" I say walking away
