Three Dixon's

Chapter 3:

Well atleast Ed died but the other guy was bitten and he decided to turn so we just left him at a tree with a gun and left.

I look ahead and notice the CDC. I smile brightly and watch as we stop in front of it.

I get off and run towards one of the opening docks.

"Come on" I say banging on the door
Everyone starts banging on it but no one answers.
"Rick, the walkers are coming. We need to go" says Shane
I look at the camera and see it move
"It moved" I say
I keep banging on it and everyones leaving until it opens up.

"Yea better open" I murmur

When I go in I'm greeted by a gun.

"Well that's very nice" I say putting my hand on my hip
"Sis no now" says Daryl
I roll my eyes and say "I'm just a kid"
The guy apologizes and says "My apologize, I'm doctor Jenner"
"I'm Hailey" I say plainly
"I'm Rick, that's Daryl, Shane, Jacquie, Andrea, Dale, T-dog, Sophia, Carol, my wife and son Lori and Carl" says Rick
"Nice to meet you people" says Jenner

I pull Daryl towards me and whisper "i don't trust this guy"
"Well I believe you. Your usually never wrong about people but let's just keep quiet..I don't know if your right this time" says Daryl
I nod and walk towards Sophia

"Hey Sophia" I say
"Hello" she says
"I heard about your dad" I say
"Yea..he was a meanie" she says
"Yea..I figure" I say walking away from her and towards Andrea.

She's to nice and helpless. I can't get attached to her..

"Hey Andrea. How you holdin up" I say
"I'm just fine" she says
I know she's lieing but I let it go and walk towards Daryl.

"Okay, follow me to go eat" says Jenner and we obviously follow.

After a few minutes we get loads of food and wine.

I get half a glass and eat up but don't worry half a glass isn't enough to get a Dixon half drunk.

"Can I get some?" Asks Carl
Everyone decides to give him a shot of it.
I'm going to laugh if he makes a face, which he does.
He glares at me and I shoot him the finger which doesn't rub Lori right.

I shrug and drink the rest.
After that we have a shower but keep it on a low heat. I hear everyone cheering as the shower and I can't help myself but do the same.

When we get out Carol decides to have all the kids in one room for 'bonding'.

I sit down on the couch and pull out my Camera
"Say cheese" I say
Sophia and Carl smile and I take a picture.
"Perfect" I say waving the picture until the image appears

I then open my bag and put it in my scrapbook. I then pull out my iPod and play parting glass.

I lay back on the couch and close my eyes, getting lost in the music/signing but after a while Carl and Sophia come in.

I jolt up and pause the music.

"Hi" I say waving my hand
"What were you listening to?" Asks Sophia
"Parting glass" I say meekly
"We want to here it" says Carl
I nod and replay the song again.

When it's done I notice Carl and Sophia smiling
"That's a nice song" says Carl
"It's my favorite" I say
They smile and I lay back down on the couch
"So?" I say
"I don't know" they say
I get up and ask"what where you guys good at in school?"
"I was good at probably Math?" Says Sophia in more of a question than statement
"I liked none of it" says Carl
I roll my eyes and say "I liked science and Reading"
They look at me like I'm crazy
"What? There both amazing subjects" I say defensively
They roll there eyes and walk towards their beds.

I look at the ceiling and feel uncomfortable.

"Hey do you mind if I sit down?" Asks Carl
"No" I say getting up
"Thanks" says Carl sitting down
I nod and fiddle with the solar panel on the iPod.

That's when I feel soft lips kiss my cheek.

I feel myself blush slightly
"Carl!?" I shout in suprise
He smirks and I get up and go to bed
"Goodnight" I say to Sophia and Carl
