Chapter 14:

Haileys pov

"Hey, sorry you had to see me like this" I say angrily
"Everyone gets mad" says little man
"I did once in here because of the man you just killed. He cut my hair in my sleep" says Axcel
I laugh because of Axcel.
He glares at me and I walk up to them, hugging them.
"Thankfully you guys haven't died" I say
They smile
"We are glad to see you too" they say
I smile but stop when I hear Carol say "how did you get all this?"
I limp outside my cell with Axcel and little man behind me.

Then I notice Carl smiling triumphantly.
"I found the infirmary" says Carl
"By yourself" says Lori
"Only took down a few walkers" says Carl
"Look what happened to Hershel and this was with the wh-" Carl yells something I don't catch.
"Carl don't yell at her. She's your mother" says Beth
He glares at everyone and walks outside with me behind him.

When I finally catch up to him he has anger written all over his face so I grab his arm and drag him to a watch tower.

"Sit!" I say pointing at the ground
"But-"
"Sit!" I yell
He murmurs something but sits down.
"Carl what's wrong?" I ask
"I hate how my mom's always babying me" carl say angrily
"Well I don't know how having a mom is..unless Daryl counts" I say running my hands through my hair. That makes him crack a smile.
"I don't know but I want to be treated like I'm older" says Carl getting up and inching closer to me
"Ha trust me no you don't" I say
"Can't be that bad" he says pushing my beanie off
"He-" I'm cut off because he kisses me.
I kiss him back feeling myself lossen up at our situation.

I slip my tongue into his mouth as he allows entry and allow myself to explore around him in ways I never have.

He let's out a light moan but I stop myself.
"I can't Carl" I whisper breathlessly as I pull away
"We should go back" I add as I pick up my beanie and go down the watch tower and back towards the prison.

I sigh heavily and feel myself remember a memory.

Flashback

"Boy's can just use you so be smart." Says my best friend Jacob
"I always am aren't I?" I say holding my special knife that Daryl gave to me
"Yea but your violent too" adds Jacob blushing slightly
"Do you even remember meeting Daryl and Merle?" I ask starting to laugh
"Oh yea" he says blushing in embarrassement
I crack up laughing at that.

If only he'd have the feelings I have towards him.

End of flashback

"Where's Daryl?" I ask
"He went to go clear out more stuff" says Lori
"Oh okay thanks Lori" I say smiling
"Oh by the way I'm going on a run" I add
"Wait no!" She yells
"Your not my mom and you cant get to me with saying look at what happened to hersehl!" I basically yell
"Look at him he's dieing" says Lori
"You may think that but he will survive this! He's a strong man!" I yell, walking into my cell and grabbing an empty bag and weapons.
"I'll see everyone soon" I yell as I walk outside and towards a car but someone grabs my wrist.
"Not alone your not" says Carl
"No your needed here for if Hershel does die then you end it" I say
"What if-"
"No what ifs okay? I'll be fine" I say kissing his lips and walking into the car
He nods hesitantly and walks towards the prison gates as I back away from the prison.
He opens them and allows me to oass through as I drive away from the prison and towards the place I met Zachary.

When I get there I see the town as a ghost city because not even walkers are roaming but I notice a guy baracading everywhere so I get out of the car hesitantly and walk towards him with my gun at hand.

"Hello" I say uneasily
"Hi.." he says coldly
"Um..I'm Hailey" I say still gripping my gun tightly
"Morgan" he says
"Um...how long have you been doing this?" I ask
"A few weeks" he says finally planting the stake
"Oh..um..if you want you can come with me back to a prison. Our leader will glady take you in" I say
"Whos the leaders name" he asks
"Rick Grimes" I say
He freezes up at his name and says "go now"

I nod uneasily and walk towards Zacharys old liqiour store.
