Chapter 34:

I wake up and look around to notice it's morning.

I'm surprised when I hear voices.

I quickly change into jeans and put on a jacket.

I just pull my hair in a ponytail and walk out of my cell with my satchel already on me.

I run my eyes and walk towards the cafeteria but that's when I see people.

"What the hell?" I say
"Hello" says a lady
I squint and notice Daryl eating with Beth.

"Daryl!" I shout
He turns towards me.
I walk over to him.

"What the hell is all this" I say
"Its the people of Woodsbury" says Daryl
"No! I can not live with these people!" I shout
"Calm down, they had nothing to do with you getting kidnapped" says Daryl
"The governor Rapped me and you expect me to watch the people that lived with him roam our prison!?" I yell now
"Calm down!" Shouts Daryl

I walk away from my brother and go towards one of the okay guard towers.

I just couldn't bear being in there right now.

I climb up and sit at the edge of the rails.

I pull out my knife and admire the words merle engraved.

I put it down and pull out my diary and a pen as I write down about yesterday and today.

When I'm done I put it back in my satchel and put my knife back also.

I close my eyes and try to remember the last time I was actually happy.

The first memory that comes up is Carl.

I miss him.

I push it away and get up off the rails and go back down as I finally take on the new people.

Few minutes later...

Carl's Pov

I look at Hailey but she just flips away from me and walks over to Maggie.

I honestly miss her company and smile.

I just feel so dumb for causing her all this pain.

I take a deep breath and walk over to her.

"Hailey?" I say
She doesn't say anything.
"Come on" I say
She ignores me and walks away.

I stare at her as she leaves and remember when she threw the ring.

Does that mean we're over.

I take another deep breath and walk over to my dad to argue about the people coming.

Haileys pov

Few months later

(Just so you guys know, Hailey still hates Carl and when she found out about Andrea she couldn't help but feel blocked out from everyone so the only person that penetrates her bubble is Beth)

I lay on my cell bed as I toss and turn.

I could no longer fall asleep at nights. Not after Andrea.

I hear footsteps as they walk up the stairs.

I get up and grab my knife as I grow curious about the noises.

"Come on, it'll be easy to kill that loser Carl" says a guy
"Then Rick will loose and we can trick him into thinking Carl's been kidnapped then bam we kill him" says another voice which is feminine
I furrow my eyebrows and look towards the side to notice it's Jim and Bee.

I grow wide eyed and run towards my satchel as I pick it up.

I take a deep breath and wait till it's morning before I take care of business.

Few hours later...

I notice that I've finally fallen asleep but when I wake up I hear Bee and Jim's voice.

"We're so sorry you won't see your dad again" says Jim
I quickly grab my knife and gun as I run down the stairs and towards Carl's cell.

I quickly see Jim and Bee with guns aimed at Carl.

I quickly aim my gun at bee as I ready my knife on Jim.

I shoot bee and I'm about to stab Jim when I hear a gun shot.

I feel pain on my side.

I look at Jim and notice him smiling evily but that's when I see Carl drive a blade through his skull.

"Hailey! Are you okay?" Asks Carl
"Carl, I'm sorry for being a bitch these past months but because of Merle and Andrea it just didn't feel right." I say weakly
"No, I'm sorry for the way I've been acting" says Carl
"I love you" I whisper as I pull Carl in for a kiss I've been longing.
He kisses me back and I feel myself smile.
"Stay with me" says Carl
"Wish I could" I whisper as I feel my edges blurr
"No do-" he's cut off because everything black out.
