Three Dixon's

Chapter 6:

I breath in deeply as I lay my self against the Rv wall, feeling a huge headache so I pull out a cigarette and light it.

I breath it in then puff it out.

"You shouldn't be doing that" says Dale
I shrug and say "it ain't so bad. Plus were all likely going to die someday so why not?"
He shakes his head and looks around.

He's waiting for them to come back from their search party but it's been hours and I'm honestly scared

After a few minutes Carol and Andrea come back.

"Carl's been shot" they say
I feel my heart stop
"We..need to go now" I yell out
They nod and we get in the Rv.
I drive the other car despite the fact that I'm bleeding and it hurts alot.

Andrea said at a mailbox that says Greene

When I see it, I drive into it and see a wide area of grass and a house.

This place has been..untouched

I keep driving and turn off the car. I then run uneasily towards the house, making myself fall once or twice.

"Wheres..Carl" I ask weakly to a lady
"You need to get that arm stitched up first" says the lady
I shake my head and say "let me see CARL"
She sighs and shows me to his room.

"Omg.." I whisper seeing Carl with his eyes closed
I walk up to the bed and whisper "if only I was there...maybe I could have..helped you"
Blackness starts to creep in and I see it as my edges blacken.

That's when I suddenly black out and everything is consumed by the darkness.

Rick

"HAILEY!" I yell out as she passes out
"She's lost to much blood. We need to stitch that arm up, follow me" says Patricia
I nod, picking up Hailey and following Patricia
"Lay her here and I'll take care of the rest" says Patricia
I nod and walk outside, feeling tears well up.

"Its not your fault" Shane says
I just look ahead and feel Shane wipe away the blood on my face.

Daryl

"Hey Rick, has Hailey come back yet" I ask
"Yea. She lost to much blood and passed out" says Rick
I feel myself panick
"Where is she!!" I yell
"She's in that room over there" says Rick
I nod and run towards that room.

I notice Hailey on the bed and her arm stitched neatly.

"Damn it Hailey, you were always hard headed" I say
She opens her eyes and jolts up
"Where's Carl!?!" She yells out
I run over to her and lay her back down
"Calm down" I say
She nods uneasily and takes of her backpack.
"Now you get some rest and here are some of merles pills for that infection
She nods and takes a few, falling back asleep.
I smile and whisper "I'm going out, I'll be back soon and shane went on a run with the guy who shot Carl. They'll be back and when they come back they're going to do surgery"

Hailey again
-few days later-

I wake up and feel very light headed but thats when I see water at the side of the bed and drink it all, not knowing how dehydrated I was.

I get up slowly and walk towards the kitchen.

When I get there, there's a girl with blonde hair.
"Hi...um do you mind if you can grab me something to eat?" I ask
She turns around and says "your not suppose to be up!"
I shrug and say "I've been through worse"
She shakes her head and gives me A sandwich.

"Thanks!" I say eating it up
"Well that was quick, im Beth by the way" she says
"Im Hailey, Daryls sister" I say
She nods and says "I heard about the little girl..that must be horrible loosing her" says Beth
I nod and say "yea she wa-"
Im cut off by someone
"Walker!" They yell
I immediately jolt up and run outside, noticing the walker ahead.
I immediately sprint towards it as Andrea aims at it. When I get to it I notice it's not a walker..its Daryl.

"Don't shoot!!" I yell out "it's Daryl" but thats when I hear the gun go off and my brother falls to the ground.

"Daryl!!!!" I shriek,noticing it only grazed him so I pick him up and walk towards the farm house
"Great job dumbass" I say to Andrea, getting help from t-dog and Glenn
Her eyes fall to the ground and she walks away.

I take a deep breath and lay my brother on the bed, noticing that I ripped my stitches.

"Really Hailey?" Says Beth
"Sorry, my brother matters more to me than my brother" I say
She sighs and takes me to clean up and just wrap my arm.
"There" she says
I smile and say "mind if you teach me a thing or two about all this?"
She rolls her eyes and says "you should talk to my dad about that"
I nod and get up, grabbing my bag.

I then walk towards where Daryl is at and notice Carl's awake.

I run into Carl's room and sit down next to him.
"Hey" I say smiling
"Hi" he says wincing slightly
"I'm glad your awake" I say
"Really? I thought you hated me or something" he says
I shrug and say "I don't hate unless I have a reason"
He smirks and says 'oh'
I nod and kiss his cheek
"Get some sleep"
And with that I walk away.
