"I thought I lost you" she says as she suddenly kisses my lips.

I'm shocked at the move and my cheeks burn hot red

I still sat there in shock despite the pain in my ankle.

Charlotte pulled away and her cheeks were burning red.

"Just one time" she whispered

I still sat there shocked.

"Well okay then...didn't know you rolled that way" says Aiden as he keeps his eyes on the road.

I looked at Charlotte who seemed to calm down.

"Wow" I mumble in shock

The car suddenly stops and Nicholas cusses under his breath.

"Damn it!" I say as I grab my stuff and open the car door, only to feel the pain in my leg. Making me fall to the ground.

"Hailey!? Are you okay?!?" asks Charlotte

"I'm fine" I say as I grit my teeth

Charlotte helps me up as Aiden and Nicholas start walking.

I hop as Charlotte helps me walk towards Alexandria which is right in front of us.

"Open up!" yells Aiden

I cringe at the pain of hoping as the gates open and we're allowed in.

"Are you sure? I can pick you up?" asks Charlotte who know worries

I nod and hop into Alexandria as I hear the gates close behind me.

"Well good thing is that its not broken" says Pete

"Bad thing?" I question

"It's a high sprang so it'll be harder to walk and run" says Pete

I look at him almost wide eyed.

"Yup so that means you can't walk on it. You'll need to use crutches for a while" says Pete as he massages my leg.

I bite my bottom lip.

"This may hurt but stay calm and..grip this pillow" says Pete as he throws me a pillow

I nod and I suddenly feel him pull my leg out then back in. Causing me to whimper at the pain.

After excruciating pain Pete puts this type of cast and gives me crutches.

"Your fine. Just come back in a week so I can check on it." says Pete smiling

"Okay pete, thanks for the help" I say as I fix the crutches to my size and start using them.

"Oh and no runs until your up and RUNNING" says Pete seriously as I leave.

I sigh heavily and start to walk down the road when I hear someone yell behind me.

"Hailey wait!" I hear Charlotte shout

I turn my head and frown slightly.

"Yes?" I question

"How's your leg?" asks Charlotte

I frown and look down on it.

"What do you think?" i question with anger in my voice

"Well..sorry about it...maybe we should go to your house and make something to make you feel better" says Charlotte smiling.

"Oh well I don't know? How about the damn apocalypse stopping!" I raise my voice for no reason.

Charlotte seems taken aback.

"There are people who are survivors actually dieing out there and you ask if I'm okay? You took me away from my family and you don't even care about my feelings! I mean you just picked me up and ran" tears fill my eyes now "AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE OKAY!" I actually cry now as I use my crutches to walk away. The pain in my ankle not making me keep on the argument.

Behind me I can hear Charlotte mumble some thing but I don't catch it as I make it towards my house. Pain in my ankle as the struggles become real.
