Few days later...

"I know we will" I whisper as I stand next to Glenn.

"We have to clear this area up" says Glenn

"The herd will come by here soon and we need everyone's help" says Glenn.

I sigh and ignore his explanation, me already knowing what's going to happen.

Flashback...

"Alright Hailey we've decided for you to come" says Rick

"Wait? Really?" I question to the group.

"Your likely more experienced and we'll feel better if you went with Glenn" says Maggie

"What about sage?" I question

"We'll take care of him" says Carl and Kevin

"Wait are you sure?" I question

They both nod.

"Alright then. I'm trusting you with his life." I say to them as I look at everyone.

"May we all be safe" I say as I grab the gun offered "I'll do my best to protect them" I add

They all nod as Kevin hands me a walkie talkie. He shows me his.

"Channel 38, one channel away from everyone else's" he says.

I nod and hug him tightly. I could hear him cry softly.

End of flashback.

"Okay get ready everyone!" shouts Glenn

Nicholas stands at the door as I ready my gun. He opens the door quickly but we see it's locked.

"Damn it" says Glenn

I sigh as I wipe the sweat that was forming on my forehead.

"Hailey, shatter the window" says Glenn

I nod as we ready ourselves. I aim my gun closely as I shoot. The glass shattering as the Walkers pour out.

"Fight till the very end little sister" I hear a memory say

I shoot easily as I kill the walkers who forward at me but a sudden bursts of pain happens. I look down and notice I stepped in a hole.

"Shit" I whisper as my ankle pains slightly.

Everyone else keeps firing but then something grabs my leg and causes me to fall face first. I look and notice it being a walker. Its teeth threatingly close.

"Shit" I hear someone say as I gun goes off, causing the walker to fall dead.

I sigh in relief as I notice it being Nicholas.

"Thanks" I say as he helps me up

He nods and looks around.

"You alright?" asks Glenn

"I'm fine, everyone else?" I question

"They're okay too" he says

I nod and start to walk the direction told.

"Let's hope we're not to late" I say as I pick up my gun and keep on walking.

"Your everything to me so you have to come back" Says Kevin who hugs me tightly.

"You know I can't promise It" I say as I kneel down to the boys Eye view.
