CAROL TOOK THE FINISHING blow to her deceased husband, Ed Peletier, with the help of Daryl. Her sobs were loud as Juliette rubbed a comforting hand over her back.

Carol was finally free. Free from the shackles her late husband had placed on her since the beginning.

Amy had awoken. However, it wasn't truly Amy. It was the monster that took her life. Jules had stared at the sisters worriedly, ready to step in just in case Andrea didn't have it in her to put Amy to rest. Turns out, she did, because eventually, she shot her.

Rick and Shane had been digging more holes. When Daryl made his way up to the hill to where they were digging, the rest of the campers followed.

Jules walked alongside Lori, coming up from the truck Daryl was previously in. "I still think it's a mistake not burning these bodies. It's what we said we'd do, right? Burn 'em all, wasn't that the idea?"

"At first," Shane addressed Daryl's concerns, shoveling a load of dirt.

Daryl rolled his eyes. "The chinaman gets all emotional. Says it's not the thing to do, we just follow him along?"

Jules sent him a glare even though he wasn't looking at her. "He's Korean, dipshit," she growled, arms crossed next to Lori.

Daryl ignored her, only sending her a glance, while Shane sent his niece a hard look, as if to tell her to butt out. "These people need to know who the hell's in charge here, what the rules are."

"There are no rules," Rick said, shovel in hand with dirtied clothes.

"Well, that's a problem. We haven't had one minute to hold onto anything of our old selves. We need time to mourn and we need to bury our dead. It's what people do." Lori's voice trailed off towards the end, while Shane stared at her as he leaned against the shovel.

A freshly dug hole was wide open and waiting for Amy. Without any help from anyone, due to Andrea not letting anyone else touch her sister, she dragged the dead girl into the empty hole. Dale strayed in front of her, ready to help, but Andrea snapped at him every time he tried.

Everyone, minus Jim who was resting in Dale's camper, stood around the sisters to pay their respects. Tears rolled down Andrea's cheeks as she repeated, "I can do it," when Dale tried to help.

Jules heart burned in sympathy and pain. It was hard to believe that Amy was alive and well just a day prior. That she was there, cracking jokes and contributing to the camp.
