"YOU'VE BEEN ACTING STRANGE since you've been back from that pharmacy run," Jules told Glenn pointedly after she waved him over away from all of the tents. Both him and Maggie seem more smiley than usual, and she wanted to get to the bottom of it. What went down during their run?
Glenn about flinched, looking like a deer in headlines as if he had been caught. That made Juliette even more convinced something . . . interesting had happened yesterday.
He looked around for a moment, checking to see if anyone was around them. He then raised a hand to his lip, shushing her. Jules gave him a confused look, urging for him to say something. His facial expression turned to one that looked like he was constipated, so Jules shrunk away from him. He took that as a opportunity and started walking away back to everyone else. Jules wasted no time grabbing his wrist and pulling him back.
"Glenn, seriously, what is going on with you?" she lowered his voice, hoping maybe she'd be able to get to him if she listened to him and shushed.
He groaned, placing his face in his hands in thought. "Okay, okay, you caught me!"
Jules looked at him with an amused expression. "Really? That's all it took? You're not good with secrets, are you?"
He threw up his hands. "Yeah, I'm not, and it's been eating away at me. I just need to tell someone. You're good with secrets, right?"
The teenager shrug her shoulders. "I don't know, probably. Depends on what it is. Just tell me, idiot."
Glenn stared at her for a moment, breathing in and out deeply with his jaw clenched. "Lori's pregnant!" he announced, before slapping a hand over his mouth and cursing himself.
Jules's eyes blew wide, jaw dropping as she looked around to see if anyone else heard, knowing he quite literally shouted it. "What? She's pregnant?" she whisper-shouted after she saw no one within earshot. "Then why have you and Maggie been so . . . nevermind."
Glenn vigorously nodded his head, ignoring the last part. He looked at war with himself because he now held a guilty look for saying anything. "Well, I don't know for sure if she is. Yesterday, she asked me to get some . . . stuff for her."
Jules ran a hand through her hair in thought. She was definitely able to keep this a secret, because of the depth of it. She wouldn't forgive herself if she let it slip to someone about Lori's possible pregnancy. "Okay, wow, that's a lot to take in. Does anyone else know?"
