"NO!" RICK SCREAMED, LIFTING his gun and shooting sporadically at anyone in front of him, narrowly missing his target. A hand flew to Jules's mouth, concealing her gags as Hershel's body lolled over. Gunshots immediately fired after Rick's stunt, the first shot being Carl. Carl managed to shoot the Governor in the arm, causing the man to hunch over in pain.

Rick ran and took cover behind a fallen bus as Jules lifted her gun, closing an eye as she readied it to shoot a man standing halfway behind a car door. She fired a bullet, only for it to whiz by his shoulder and just barely graze it. She cursed under her breath, firing more shots, only for them to be dodged. When she finally shot a man in a critical spot, she lowered the gun shakily, assessing what had happened in her moment of blindness.

The Governor was now nowhere to be seen, while Hershel was now completely dead. Michonne was out of view, too. The numbers of his people had gone down, some laying on the ground, while others were hidden. Rick was still covered, a bullet wound on his leg, making the girl grimace.

Her eyes widened once the Governor reappeared, looking more furious than ever. He said something to the guy in the tank, who raised a piece of cloth and waved it in the air. The tank began moving forward until it completely toppled over the outer fence, the cars soon following. Jules felt her heart drop to the pit that was her stomach, relocating to a more safer spot next to Maggie, Beth, and Scout.

"I'm out of ammo," Beth whimpered, ducking as bullets fired at them. Maggie glanced at her, before turning and shooting more.

"Run for the bus. I'll cover you!" Maggie shouted over the gunfire, running after the blonde and disappearing from Jules's sight.

The enemies kept moving, closing them in. The tank fired at the prison, effectively destroying the walls. Jules shuffled closer to Scout, who had Bob, Tyreese, and Sasha on the other side of him. The tank shot the wall directly behind them, shaking the ground underneath Jules's feet. Sasha whirled around, viewing the impact with uncertainty. "Go! Get out of here!" Tyreese shouted at his sister, causing both her and Bob to run away. "Juliette, Scout, go!"

Jules stood there crouched dumbly, gun on the floor, weighing her options. Scout must have ignored him, because he continued to shoot. She wanted to flee, judging by her flight or fight instincts, but she didn't want to leave either of them alone. So, she raised her gun again, shooting more of the Governor's men. As Jules directed her attention elsewhere, she stared in horror, watching Rick and the Governor wrestle it out not far from where she stood.
