JULIETTE AWOKE TO A faraway clatter. Blinking her eyes open, she shifted in her bed, contemplating on whether or not she should get up to investigate. It was probably nothing, she'd tell herself, but you could never be too certain when it comes to the End. If something was wrong, she'd never forgive herself for dismissing it.

She groggily rubbed her eyes, adjusting her clothing as it was displaced while she slept. She paused, waiting to her anything else. Minutes go by of nothing. She huffs at herself, now wondering if she ever did hear anything. She tucks herself back in, allowing herself to go back to sleep.

When she awakes that morning, hearing the dull sound of her alarm go off, she completely forgets of what occurred last night. Juliette goes about her morning routine like usual, conducting a few exercises inside of her cell to get her blood moving. Yesterday's run was a wake up call for: she wasn't as fit as she should be.

Pushing aside the curtain hung on her cell, she lightly makes her way to her neighbor's cell. Scout was always awake and out of his cell before she was, but she still liked to check.

Moving his cell's curtain, she feels her heartbeat increase. She could see his mop of blond hair peeking out from his blankets. He was still in bed. After six months it finally happens. She was up before him.

Smiling to herself triumphantly, she tucks his curtain away, making her way down the stairs to find Rick and Carl. Yesterday, she was unable to help them out, and wanted to make it up to them. Rick tells her she doesn't have to, but she knows Carl is tired of being around his old man.

She catches them outside just as they were moving into the courtyard. "Rick! Carl!" she calls, making sure her voice isn't too loud. They both turn at the same time, Rick giving her an appreciative smile while Carl just looks away indifferently.

"Hey, Jules. Not often we see you out here. Not skipping out on Hershel, are you?" he asks with a hint of humor.

Jules thinks for a moment, because she is supposed to be with Hershel right now, but she wouldn't have much of anything to do with him. No one had gotten a small injury recently that she could handle. Bob, maybe, but that was too far out of her jurisdiction. She'd visit Hershel later. "Technically, I am, but I'm going up there tomorrow."

Michonne, walking with her horse by the reins, was getting ready to go on her daily run. "Careful out there," Rick says as their paths intersect.

"Always am. Any requests? Books? Comics? Some stale M&M's?" Michonne questions, looking between each of them as she says their usual order.
