Sam's POV
Last night I was here..
I don't know what has gotten into me but my feet dragged me back here..
Now, I'm standing in front of her flower shop's door..
Again..
Back to you..
My heart has been erratically thumping non-stop and I held my chest to calm myself down..
What is happening to me?
I searched my pocket for the folded paper that I got last night and pressed the shop's door bell..
I closed my eyes for a second and took a deep breath and put the brightest smile on my face.
A few seconds passed and an angel appeared in front of me..
God, she's so beautiful..
"We're closed to--" I heard her say something from the other side of the transparent door but I didn't understand it but her eyes were wide opened and she seemed to be really shocked when she saw me..
She muttered something softly but it was almost inaudible for me to understand. I think she called a name or something..
Then I held up the paper that I was holding and pointed at it.
She's about to open the door then I noticed she panicked and gestured me to wait then she was nowhere to be found..
I think she just woken up, she's still wearing the hoodie and her hair is slightly disheveled but she still looks so beautiful and cute.
So I waited patiently outside kicking my feet on the pavement."Hi! I found this outside and are you still looking for a shop assistant? I'm Sam by the way." I said then I extended my arm for a shake hand.
I noticed that she looked confused but she did reached for my hand to shake it back.
When our hands touched, I felt something.. something.. good..
And I felt her squeezed my hand.. So I squeezed back a little.
Yesterday when I touched her I did felt the same way but I didn't got the chance to actually grasped the feeling because of our situation. But now, I felt this exchange of electricity between us which actually feels so soooo good.
I'm just not sure if she felt the same..
"Sam?" I heard her repeated my name as if confirming if what she heard was correct.
"Yes, Sam. Just Sam, I suppose." I answered as our hands stayed tangled and I kept a smiling face. I can't help but smile whenever I look at her.
"I- I'm Becky, the owner of this shop." She said as she introduced herself to me.
Bec--ky.. Such a cute name..
After she told me her name, there was silence between us. I don't know how long we stayed like that just looking at each other. No one uttered a single word, there's something with this girl that I can't define by words..
I was the one who broke the silence and asked her again if the job is still available. She told me that it was still available and she led me inside her shop and made me sit in the coffee table beside the counter. She also made me some coffee..
I lied to her on I got the information about her looking for a shop assistant. It would sound weird to her if I tell her the whole story. Like, "Hi, I saved you yesterday and I found this in front of your shop's door last night when I came back and my feet dragged me here this morning." Not a good start if I want to get to know her.
