Becky's POV
A 'marriage contract' huh?
"Do you think we can pull this off?" I asked Freen while we are drinking coffee in a nearby coffee shop. We just finished meeting the engaged couple and already agreed with the flower arrangements.
"Of course we can, you're the best flower shop owner in this city. I don't think anyone can pull this off but you." She replied smiling at me then she sipped her iced coffee.
"I don't know, its just.. The schedule is really tight and there's only the two of us." I answered uncertainty is evident in my voice.
"At least you have me now, you're not alone anymore. I'll be with you every step of the way, Becky." Freen answered me grinning then a radiant smile is plastered on her face.
My heart has surely lifted from my chest upon hearing Freen's reply and seeing her looking at me with that lovely smile.
I have her now? :)
I was lost of words so I just smiled back at her.
"Thank you, Sam." Was all I can reply to her. I feel so happy that she's now here with me. Even if she doesn't remember anything, she's still the Freen that I've met years ago. Nothing has changed from her except losing her memories.
Remember me, Freen.
The next day, early in the morning, Freen and I embarked on a four hour drive outside Bangkok. We will be picking up our flower orders. I went home and brought Freen's silver Ford Ranger and she insisted that she will be the one to drive. I agreed with her offer since I've been feeling sleepy because I stayed up until midnight planning the arrangements while Freen slept soundly on the couch near my office table. Me agreeing her to drive the truck made her so happy. If only she knows that this car is really hers and not mine.
Honestly, last night I finished a little bit earlier before midnight struck. Its just that when I stood up from my working table I was mesmerized by the sleeping beauty in my couch so I decided to walk towards it and sit on the floor beside her for a while to gaze at her.
God! I can't stop admiring her. She's so beautiful in every angle and from that moment I realized that my love for her has never changed at all. The way my heart beats fast when I'm near her, the way my heart flutters when I hear her speak and the way my eyes sparkles every time I see the sight of her. Nothing has ever changed. If only its easy to make you remember everything about us, if only it won't cause you pain, Freen.
Tell me how can I make you remember..
Afraid to wake her up, I carefully removed a strand of hair that had fallen in her gorgeous face. Then a powerful magnetic desire forces me to gaze on her lips. I badly wanted to kiss her. God knows who much I crave those plump lips. If only I could do it..
God, Freen.. I stopped myself from leaning in to kiss her. However, my thumb gently touched her lips and then quickly retreated.
A tear fell down from my eye, it hurts not being able to touch you, to hug and to kiss you whenever I want to. But I'm still glad that you're here now.
You are near yet so far, Freen.
*sighs*
Freen stirred slightly and that made me move to the other couch quickly so she will not see me beside her in case she wakes up.
Sorry if I disturbed your beauty rest, my love.
I looked at her one last time and wiped the tears in my eyes and cheeks before drifting off to sleep.
