Chapter 47 - Dearest Becky.. Love, Freen

It's all over now..
The murders, drugs and crimes.
It won't happen again.

People from the government who are involved are also under investigations. We managed to catch the guy in white coat, the scientist who was behind all of these drug issues and all those involved.

His name was Saint.

After he revealed everything to us, he killed himself in the middle of the night by hanging himself inside his cell.

He was the younger brother of our previous agency's chief, Chen.

All my life I didn't expected that my life would turned out like this. I was born without knowing my roots, spending my childhood until teenage life inside an orphanage. A boring and an uneventful life..

When I got my scholarship to train as a secret agent, that's when my world completely turned into a 180 degrees.

Finding Freen was best part of it.

During our early days as partners, together, we go from one after the other mission. Those are one of the best feelings of being able to rescue and save a lot of people. However, as time passes by it gets weirder and weirder every mission. Because we started to notice a pattern of drugs and clues but when these are reported to the chief, we will always be brushed off and he kept telling us to focus on our specialty which are "extraction and rescue" missions. Then, it got us thinking that whenever we are sent to do missions, "Why are we the only ones who will go first and only back ups will be there whenever the missions are almost finished?"

But just like any other mysteries, time will come when everything will unravel. A big plot twist of it was that, Freen and I were used for personal gains. We fought to rescue, to save lives and to bring justice. But at the same time, behind our backs, these bad people kept doing evil that is being shaded by our heroic acts. That secret agency that once gained fame from the government and they finally got connections inside who wanted to join their evil acts of spreading those deadly drugs so they can control the whole country, or worse, if we were not able to stop it.. Was to control the whole world and bring wrath if they managed to ship it outside the country.

Now I get it, more than two years ago, when Freen and I were assigned to rescue the two kids of the Bangkok's governor, subtly we also managed to stop their entire operation that annihilated their biggest drug shipment. The guy in white coat told us that, that day, Freen already got the biggest and most solid evidence against them. That night, she also found out about how her parents died, they were killed because they also investigated back then about these suspicious drug acts. But at that time, these bad guys were just experimenting on how to make these drugs. That was the triggering point for the chief to order his men to kill Freen on site. Managing to get her out of the picture was a double kill and win for them because losing Freen meant that they are going to get me out of the case too. My credibility was destroyed at the loss of Freen and it led me to quit my job. I locked up our evidences in a safe and lost myself in the whole process.

They made sure that I was really broken and stray away from being a secret agent when they visited me at the hospital the day after that horrible incident.

Now, they managed to do it again to me.

Leave me broken, once again..

But this time, we succeeded on catching them and tearing them down.

However, they took Freen down with them..
