Chapter 35 - Unraveled Powers

- Freen's POV -

So, I fell off a bridge after receiving multiple sniper shots that went through my body. But how the hell am I still alive? Was it because of my powers? It's still all a mystery to me. I hope I can somehow find out about it.. But right now all I can think about is how good I'm feeling now that I'm right here with Becky and there's nothing I could wish for more. 

I feel complete.

"Ahh!! I found one!!" Becky exclaimed suddenly that made me wide awake that pulled me from my own thoughts. I was already half asleep and she's leaning on my chest and tapping mindlessly on her phone.

"Huh! Wh-where?" I asked her as I pulled her closer to me.

We decided to spend the whole day at home doing nothing but just snuggling with each other and catching up about a lot of things that happened to our lives during the time that we're not together.

"Here.. It's in Phuket, Koh Phi Phi Leh, is an uninhabited island and probably best known for its secluded and incredibly picturesque Maya Bay. But we need to take a boat to get there." Becky replied as she read the things she found on google.

"Well.. Its not secluded anymore given that it is already on google and can be searched by 7 billion people." I replied to her chuckling as I stared on the ceiling and she softly hit me on my shoulder.

"You're such a goof! There won't be a lot of people because its cold and most people would probably be in the city. We're going here. Should I book a flight now?" She asked while still leaning to me. She's been clingy to me ever since I told her I love her. And she really love leaning on my chest I wonder why.. I have to ask her.

"Up to you, babe." I simply replied and she raised her head and looked to my eyes.

"Did I just heard you right, you called me babe?" She asked in a baby voice. Cutie.

"I did, babe." I replied as I repeated calling her babe.

Then she snuggled closer than ever. So adorable. Damn it.

"Is it just me or I noticed that my chest is your favorite part of my body huh?" I teased her.

"That's not true, I love every part of your body. Your eyes, your nose, your lips and all of you. It's just that being close to your chest is one of my favorite things to do when I'm with you and I missed this so much." She sweetly replied.

"Can I ask why? I - Uhh, I'm sorry.. The memories, they don't just come back easily.. Sorry." I said stuttering, I felt ashamed that after what happened to us I still can't remember a lot of things.

"Don't say sorry Freen.. I understand your situation and I'm very much willing to tell you the things that you want to know. It's fine baby, don't ever apologize for not remembering something. You did something good when you saved me and other people that day and you sacrificed your life. So when you want to ask for anything just ask, okay baby?" Becky replied to me and I nodded and kissed her forehead.

"Thank you, Bec." I replied. How lucky I am to have her.

Becky propped herself up on her right elbow and looked at me. I immediately got lost in her gaze as my eyes studied every feature her face has. She's so beautiful.. So perfect.. My angel..

"Okay, so as I was saying.. Your chest is one of the many things I love about you and a place I always want to be closer with." Becky started..

"We were once working as secret agents, baby and there was one time during one of our missions that I got drugged.." Becky said and I instantly felt the surge of anger upon hearing that she was drugged, meaning I wasn't able to protect her that time.
