Sam's POV

After our dinner, I drove Becky to her home..

As I opened the door for her for the nth time today, I felt this familiar feeling that I've done this before a long time ago. Also, as we stood in this tall building where she lives, I felt a sense of belonginess with this place. Like... I've been here before.

Strange.

"Sam, thank you for today, I really enjoyed the food and thank you for driving me home tonight. And also, thank you for staying and helping me out the whole week." Becky said as she clutched her bag strap in her shoulders.

"Ummm.. thank you also. Especially for coming with me. I enjoyed everything." I replied her.

"So.. I'll see you tomorrow?" Becky asked while looking at me with those expressive eyes.. There's something about the way she looks at me. I'm not sure if that's just how she looks at everyone but.. I don't know. I can't explain the feeling that she's giving me whenever she looks at me this way.

The way her eyes searches my eyes whenever our eyes meet. There's happiness and sense of peace that her eyes radiates. It feels familiar and for some weird reasons, it makes my heart happy.

"Of course, I'll pick you up at 7am so we can double check the arrangements tomorrow in the venue." I said beaming her a smile.

"Alright! Good night, Sam." Becky replied but she just stood there.. Waiting?

"Umm.. Why are you still standing there, Bec?" I curiously asked her.

"Uhh.. Waiting for you to get in your car." She replied.

"Why? Go inside first." I said to her.

"No, I'll watch you go." She replied.

I smiled, "No, go inside."

"Saaaam." Becky pouted. Fuck, cute.

"I'm not going anywhere.." I firmly said, just standing there looking at her smirking.

"Please don't.." She muttered low but I heard her.

"Go inside now please, Becky." I said chuckling at her.

Becky sighed in defeat and shook her head but I saw her smile. "Fine, but please take care on your way home."

"I will." I said.

She waved then turned her back..

But then.. she turned around to look at me once again..

I raised my eyebrows at her, "What?"

She rubbed her temples, "Text me when you get home.. But I.. I still don't have your number." She said shyly.

Oh my god! How come we still don't have each other's number?! I also forgot to take hers. Funny because we've been working for weeks now and it just became a routine for us to meet everyday except weekends of course, so we get to see each other a lot and don't need to text anymore.

I stepped closer to her and we exchanged numbers as I can't help but laugh.

"What?" Becky asked laughing as well.

"Nothing.. I just find this thing funny. How come we didn't exchanged numbers the first time we met? Haha."

"I don't know, silly. Now off you go. Its getting late. Text me when you get home. Okay?" Becky said with her gentle voice and turned her back at me heading to the building. But..

"And by the way, Sam." She said as she turned to look at me again.

"Hmm?" Raising my eyebrows.

"Let's wear something nice tomorrow. I'll see you in the morning." She said and finally turned her back and headed inside the building.
