It's been three days since Denver's surgery. Kuya told us that they managed to stop the clotting and repair the damaged arteries that caused the bleeding, but he's still in a coma! Three days and he hasn't woken up!

"Kuya tatlong araw na siyang hindi nagigising. Are you sure na he's okay? You're not... you're not lying to us, right?" Pahina nang pahina kong tanong.

Kuya gave me a small, tired smile, clearly trying to reassure me. "He's still under observation, but his vitals are stable. There are no signs of swelling, and he has brain activity. Talking to him is actually helping-he can hear you." He looked at each of us, his expression growing more serious. "But you all need to prepare yourselves for when he wakes up. People who come out of a coma sometimes face complications-physical, intellectual, even psychological."

"Whatever happens, we'll be here for him! As long as he wakes up, we'll face it together!" Sigaw ni Jax na kararating lang at may hila-hilang mop. Mukhang naglilinis.

"Hoy, hoy, hoy!" Napatingin kaming lahat kay Chaos. Isa-isa niyang tinuro sina Rance, Tev, at Jax. "Kayong tatlo, parang ginagawa niyong sumbungan ng bayan si Denver, ha!"

"H-huh?" We all responded, confused. The trio immediately turned to leave, only to be blocked by Wolf, Zai, and Vincent.

Sander stepped forward, pointing accusingly. "Narinig ko 'yang tatlong 'yan, complaining to Denver because we took their chicken!"

"Eh 'di ba nagpustahan kayo tapos chicken taya at sila ang talo?" River said, his brow furrowed in confusion. Yesterday, we had all overheard their bet on who would win the game of sungka between Ricah and Cie. Ricah had won, so Sander, Chaos, and Gavin won, too. Habang sina Rance, Tev, at Jax na pumusta kay Cie ang nagsuko ng mga chicken nila dahil talo si Cie.

"Oo, kaya nga!" Sander exclaimed, pointing at Chaos. "Tapos ito namang gago na 'to nagsumbong din! 'Yung hinanakit niya sa akin, last year pa 'yon!"

"Mga gago kayo!" Zai snapped, smacking them with the handkerchief he was holding. "Baka malito sa inyo si Denver at imbis na matinong gigising kasi wala namang kumplikasyon, masiraan ng bait pagkagising dahil sa gulo niyo!"

Xenor, who had been quietly sitting on the floor with his legs crossed and his head resting against the wall, sighed. "Mga hayop talaga ang mga 'to."

Kuya shook his head, a faint smile on his lips. "Keep talking to him, but do it gently. I'm sure Denver's at least getting a laugh from all your ridiculous conversations."

I shook my head with a sigh. "Nako, kuya, dapat hindi mo sinabi 'yan kasi baka maski pagtae nila, sabihin nila kay Denver."

We all turned to Chaos, who was trying and failing to stifle his laughter. He was shaking his head while looking at Sander. "Tangina, alam niyo ba, parang huling araw nanitong gago kagabi kasi inamin niya ba naman lahat ng kasalanan niya sa atin kay Denver?"

Sander's eyes widened in horror. "You... you heard that?! Damn it! How could you hear that?! Pambihirang mga tainga 'yan!"

"Tanga, nasa cr ako no'n tapos palabas na no'ng narinig kitang inaamin mga kasalanan mo!" Sigaw pabalik ni Chaos dahilan para hampasin siya ni Stella.

"Will you idiots shut up already?" Saway nito sa kanila.

Rance leaned against the railing, covering his mouth to muffle his laughter. When he looked at us, his eyes were tearing up from laughing so hard. "Damn, it really does sound like that!"
