LUNA'S P. O. V

"One week after we managed to patch things up, we were informed that we'd have an exam at school, so we needed to leave the island."

Tama. Exam. Mag-eexam pa kami eh nanganganib na nga ang buhay namin.

Panotchi, trying to remain calm, explained, "You need to take the exam because people from the Department of Education will be visiting to observe the school. It's likely they'll check your section too."

Kian, clearly frustrated, stammered, "H-huh? Why does our section have to be included? Everyone already thinks na patapon-"

Itinaas niya ang kanang kamay niya dahilan para mapahinto si Kian. "In their eyes, there's no such thing as a 'patapon' section; everyone there receives free access to high-quality education at WSHS. Even with your current situation, the school has a reputation to maintain. So, as soon as you get to your classroom, make sure to clean it. Inside and out."

"Tangina," Leo cursed under his breath.

"Linis again," natatawang sabi ni Rance. "We're taking an exam and the only thing we know is how to properly hold a gun and dodge bullets."

"Dapat na ba naming asahan na sa pagpasok o paglabas namin ng school, may bubungad sa aming baril?" I asked, my tone deadpan, causing everyone to pause and look at Panotchi, who shook his head slowly.

"I am sure Eagle is not that stupid. He learned his lesson from that night when they planned to take you. But again, none of us know how his mind works, especially now that he's probably enraged because I blocked his number. We've had no contact with each other."

Vincent's voice was cold and emotionless as he remarked, "You're doomed."

Panotchi shrugged nonchalantly, a smug grin on his face. "Not me, you guys. You're the ones going out. Just expect something bad will happen once you're far from the school. An ambush... Just expect it so at least you're ready."

"Panotchi!" We all shouted in unison as he turned to leave.

A minute passed before he faced us again, disbelief written all over his face. He slowly shook his head and pointed at his own face. "You all know my identity yet you still call me P-Panotchi?"

I couldn't resist teasing him. "You're the twelfth knight, right?" I asked.

"Yeah," he answered proudly.

"Panot ka pa rin?" Zai asked.

"Yes?"

"Then you're still Panotchi!" we all shouted in chorus, laughter bubbling up around the room.

"Dark students!" He shouted angrily, making us scatter as we went back to what we were doing before he arrived.

Once we heard the door shut behind him, we all stopped what we were doing. I collapsed onto the couch, as did the others, who were now taking deep, weary breaths.

"I don't even know what to worry about anymore," Rance groaned, dropping to the floor in frustration. "The exam or the fact that our lives are in danger."

Zai, already seated next to Stella, wrapped an arm around her and sighed, "I'll focus on the exam."

"As expected," Vincent muttered lazily.

"Deth," tawag ni Kian.

"Hmm?" Deth responded, eyes still closed as he rested on the couch.

Rance, still lying on the floor, whined, "Is there really no way we can skip the exam?"
