DETH'S P.O.V

WE just finished Tanda's conversation with Knoxx, Chaos, and Storm. I decided to replace Wolf with Knoxx, wanting to keep a close eye on him for tonight. Our meeting took longer than expected because we were waiting for Tanda outside. He mentioned he had another meeting—likely with Eagle. Once we got inside, our discussion lasted only five minutes, but I also had a separate meeting with the SSG Officers.

I'm not only the leader of the dark students but also the president of the SSG Officers, a responsibility I never take lightly. Kahit nasa malayo ako sa kanila, nagagampanan ko pa rin ang responsibilidad ko sa kanilang lahat.

The meeting with Tanda was brief, but what he instructed us to do after took much longer. We had to scan several documents for him. Thankfully, I had the boys with me; I might have missed something otherwise, especially since I wasn't in the best mood and felt dizzy from time to time.

We are now on our way to the room. My eyebrows knit together in confusion as I spot River, Gab, Warren, and Sander, moving with a sense of urgency. Their eyes were scanning the area as if searching for something—or someone while heading toward us. Bakas sa mga mata nila ang pinaghalong pag-aalala at pagkairita.

"Who are you looking for?" Storm shouted causing the four to stop. Their heads snapped in our direction. As soon as our gazes locked, their expressions shifted to urgency, and without a moment's pause, they ran toward us.

"It's good that you're done. Natagalan kayo," sagot ni Sander. "We've been wanting to talk to you kanina pa but your father's men stopped us dahil busy daw kayo kaya umalis na lang muna kami at tumulong sa paghahanap."

"Sandali lang ang meeting sa kaniya. Napatagal lang ako sa meeting ko sa mga SSG officers tapos may pinagawa siya sa amin kaya medyo natagalan." I explained. "Who are you looking for?"

"Hindi sino, ano," Gab answered seriously. "Loki, Kian's dog, is missing."

"Where are the others?" Chaos asked.

"We split the group," River explained, his voice steady despite the urgency. "Some are inside, some are outside, and we're here to update you on what's happening."

"W-Who are outside?" I asked, my voice hoarse from dryness. The medicine was taking its time to kick in. I had taken it as Chaos instructed, especially since we had a match tonight. Despite the slow progress, I could feel my condition slowly improving, a welcome change from the past few days.

"Luna, Kian, Steven, Rance, Aron, Stella, Eunice, Wolf, and Zai," Sander answered.

My eyes widened when I heard Luna and Kian's names. "Let's go outside." I was about to walk when suddenly someone grabbed my wrist causing me to look back. It was River. "We've got two minutes left before the twenty-minute mark. Luna's instructions were clear—at twenty minutes, regardless of whether Loki is with us or not, everyone must return to the mansion. So just hold on a bit longer."

"No—"

"Deth, makinig ka na lang. Trust Luna," Chaos interjected.

Isa-isa ko silang tinitigan. Lahat sila ay mariing nakatitig sa akin. I slowly nodded, raising my white flag. River let go of my wrist. I sighed heavily. "Where's Elisse?"

"He's probably in her room again. Walang pake sa mundo," Gab said, annoyed. Gab is really kind and always brings warmth in our section but when it comes to Elisse, he changes and I understand-no, we understand.

"Go on, keep searching," I instructed them, their eyes fixed on me with a look of wary. Mariin akong napapikit ng mga mata at naghilot ng sintido. Nang magmulat ako, gano'n pa rin ang paraan ng pagtingin nila sa akin. "Don't worry, I'm not leaving. With everyone heading back soon, it'd be pointless for me to go out now—I might just miss them if I do. Kay Elisse ang punta ko."
