[TWINS]

KAISERS' P. O. V

We received a text from Cif that left all of us dumbfounded. I was with my brother Zeke, Axel, Alexus, and those two clingy guys who wormed their way into my friendship with Alexus.

I don't even know why they're always hanging around with my best friend.

"Don't glare at us, you idiot. We're in the same gang," Raiven said, his tone matter-of-fact as usual. He always said that whenever I shot them a dirty look. At least he knows what's going through my mind.

If it weren't for my Kuya Zeke being here, I would've kicked these two out of here.

"Enough with the glaring, Kaiser. Let's all focus on what Cif reported," Zeke's voice cut through the tension, cold and commanding. I pouted and shot the two of them one last glare before turning my attention back to the issue at hand.

Cif reported a lot but the most important information we got were Panot-Sarmiento is the Twelfth Knight, and Eagle is Lordwick, Deth's foster father and the owner of four schools were all the same.

That Panotchi really played the game well, huh? No wonder I had such a hard time with him. It wasn't just because he was Eagle, but because he was even more powerful than I had imagined.

"So, Zeke's speculation is no longer just a speculation. He was right, and I was wrong," I admitted, turning my gaze to him slowly. My brows furrowed as I remembered something. "Kuya, I've been meaning to ask you this for a while now, but it keeps slipping my mind."

"You're always like that. What's new?" Raiven butted in. I raised my middle finger at him, still keeping my eyes on Zeke. "Shut up."

"What is it?" Zeke asked seriously, his tone making the room fall silent.

"How did you know Eagle was Lordwick?" I asked quickly, making everyone's attention shift to him. He looked at each of us before lowering his gaze to his laptop. "Like you, I suspected Sarmiento. But he was too difficult to figure out, so I focused all my attention on Lordwick."

I was about to hit Axel on the arm for staring at Kuya Zeke when we suddenly heard an alarm-from the door. Someone was banging on it aggressively, triggering the alarm. We had a doorbell for a reason, so why hit the door? And how did they get up here?

"Are any of you expecting visitors?" Alexus asked, his voice tense.

"No," I answered as we all reached for our guns, hidden beneath our seats and in locked cabinets. Everyone moved swiftly except for Axel, who remained staring at Kuya Zeke's spot, not moving an inch. I kicked his foot lightly. Alexus and Kuya Zeke took the lead, gripping their guns tightly while Axel moved more slowly.

"Hide your guns." It's Axel's voice.

Kuya Zeke and Alexus exchanged glances. Kuya Zeke moved closer to the door and peeked through the peephole. He raised his right hand in a clenched fist.

Alexus and I exchanged confused looks.

"It's a woman," Zeke whispered, turning to face us. He looked just as puzzled as we felt. He didn't seem to recognize her. "She's harmless, I think."

"Huh?" I lowered my gun and approached the door, peeking through the peephole. I saw a tall, beige skin tone woman standing there. She was beautiful, with mesmerizing-but damn-furious eyes that sent a shiver down my spine and made my hands tremble. I slowly turned back to them. "She's pissed."

"What?" Alexus asked, bewildered. Kuya Zeke walked over to Lucas and lowered his gun. We all put away our weapons. Alexus pulled me back as he opened the door. We saw two guards standing behind the woman.
