Cooked up something sinister with this chapter

"Keigo, I've been thinking about getting back in the dating scene again,"

Your son dropped his spoon into his soup.
"WHAT,"

"Well I mean you're getting older and spending more time out of the house, and soon you'll be going to college so..."

After saving his spoon from drowning, your son managed to speak,
"And why are you telling me this?"

"You're my son Keigo, you're the most important part of my life. I just figured I should hear your opinion on this,"

Keigo stared down at his soup. He always thought of you and him as your own little unit in the world, and the thought of another person in there...

"Okay. But you have to warn me 24 hours in advance if they come over! And they're not allowed in your bedroom! And it can't be someone I know!"

You laughed at your son's rules,
"Okay Keigo, I'll try,"

"Oh Keigo! Look here!"

Your son walked over to you, peering over your shoulder to see your phone screen.

"I downloaded one of those dating apps, Tinder. You can upload photos of yourself and it'll match you up with people!"

He rolled his eyes,
"I know how dating apps work, dad,"

"Well what I wanted to tell you was that I found a match!"

That piqued your son's interest, and he watched as you clicked on your match's profile.

"It says here they're a teacher. I've got to admit, they  look kind of weird with that white hair and blue eyes, and they're a little younger than me, but they seem nice!"

Keigo did think that the person might be a good fit for you, but he still had his reservations about it. He honestly didn't really like the thought of you dating someone too much, but he knew you deserved to be happy, especially after everything you'd done for him.

"I think you should go for them dad,"

You gave your son a surprised look,
"Really?"

"Yeah, he seems nice. I'm gonna hang out at Touya's house now. I'll be back for dinner,"

You have your son a kiss on the head,
"Okay, be safe,"

"I will,"

"ITS GONNA BE SO WEIRD, DUDE! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S GONNA DATE SOMEONE AGAIN,"

Touya groaned as he listened to his friend complain,
"Why don't you just tell him that then?"

"Because he deserves this! He's gone through a lot raising me-"

"Like how you snore as loud as a tractor,"

Keigo threw a pillow at Touya,
"Shut up!"
