Nathan returned to the boys' house that night with a spring in his step, a contagious grin on his face, and he was humming 'I'll make love to you' by Boys II Men, his favourite band; he was glowing. Smitten.
He walked in and ignored Jay and Max, walking straight past them without even acknowledging their existence, continuing singing his song.
When he reached the top of the stairs he met Siva, whom he greeted and then carried on walking. Siva didn't question his mood, he just assumed his day had gone well.
Tom, however, was tuned into things like this and knew what was up immediately.
'Congratulations mate!' He practically shouted in Nathan's face as he walked past.
'Thanks' Nathan wore one of the largest smiles humanly possible, and even though his cheeks had begun to ache from so much smiling, he just couldn't stop. If he did, as soon as he remembered what had happened it would come bouncing back. But he would never forget.
'Day go well then?' Tom was intrigued.
Nathan replied with a simple 'mmmm hmmmm' and continued with his humming, clapping his hands, creating a beat. Before Tom could say anything else, Nathan opened his bedroom door, slipped inside, and closed it.
He would text Sarah tomorrow. No. That wasn't enough.
Sarah woke up the next morning and sluggishly got ready for school, although she did have more energy than she normally would on the first day back at school after the long summer holidays. The reason for this could be guessed by any passer by, she was in heaven; in love. Lost in the magical wonders that young love, first love, brings, remembering the events of the previous day and evening. The good ones that is. She tried to ignore the memories of them being arrested, which were niggling at the back of her mind, making her uneasy. She mustn't let yesterday's worries ruin today, though she had a feeling that nothing good would come from these somewhat darker memories in the days to come. She instead let the bright memories improve her mood, remembering mainly the way he had run his lips across hers several times that night, the fun they had during the day with Jay, before he... She didn't want to think about it.
When she arrived at school, Charlotte was waiting for her in the foyer and pounced on her, firing one million and one questions at Sarah.
'Where did you go? Was it good? What happened? Did you kiss? Who do you like the most? Did either of them ask you out? I bet they did! What did you say? Did you meet the others again? What are they like?'
'Woah! Charlotte calm down! No one else at school can know about this so you're going to have to stay zipped.' Sarah replied, miming zipping her mouth up, locking it and throwing away the key, not answering any of her friends questions.
'Well at least quietly tell me some things! I hope you like Nathan more because I think I've decided I might have a small teeny tiny crush on Jay...' Charlotte said excitedly.
'Ok well that's fine then. That's good. I do like Nathan more, by a lot, and...' she lowered her voice and let her eyes dart aroun the room, making sure no one was listening, 'he asked me out!'
At this, Charlotte squealed and Sarah had to slap her hand over her easily excitable and rather immature best friend. In answer, Charlotte childishly licked Sarah's palm.
'Ewwww, Charlotte thats disgusting!'
'Yep, that's my middle name.' Charlotte joked. Sarah rolled her eyes.
'Have you calmed down now?' Sarah asked.
'Yes. What did you say?'
'I said yes!' Sarah yell-whispered, before continuing, 'and...' She trailed off, hesitating.
'Yes?' Charlotte encouraged.
'I've had my first kiss!' Sarah exclaimed quietly.
Charlottes eyes widened. 'No way...!'
'Yes!'
'With who?'
'Nathan. Obviously.'
'Was it good?' Charlotte continued probing.
'Amazing.'
'Wow! First kiss with Nathan Sykes! I want to know what it feels like now...' Charlotte said happily, but a little sadly.
'Dont worry, the right time will come.'
The bell rang, signalling form time was starting.
'Yeah, I know. Gosh this is all so exciting! You'll have to tell me what you did later - I'm dying to know! But we should probably go now.'
'Yeah, don't want a detention on the first day back now do we? See you later.'
They hugged and went their separate ways.
Later on during that day, whilst Sarah was sat in her final lesson of the first day back, Nathan left the boys' house whistling. He had told none of them where he was going. But they could take a guess.

I can't update on Wednesday this week, sorry - I'll do my best but I think next update will be Sunday. Sorry for making you wait - I'm trying to save up chapters so I can still update once a week while I have revision and exams, otherwise you'd have to wait two months for an update, and I don't want to do that!
