•𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆? I got inspiration for this story from a few close friends in the LGBT community. Their experiences and stories have really influenced how I portray the challenges and realities they face. I vividly remember one of them confiding in me about their sexuality and relationship, saying, "Please don't hate me or feel disgust." That moment left a strong impression on me and influenced how I approach and represent these experiences in my writing.

•𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆? My main focus in this story is on the real life experiences of the LGBT community. It's challenging to come out and confront societal judgments, which I illustrate through Yin's character. While dramas often highlight the positive aspects, I aimed to highlight the harsh realities they face. Unlike War, Yin's family is not accepting of same gender relationships and Yin faces big pressure and strong societal judgment about the LGBT community.
I wanted to show how difficult it can be to navigate these challenges. Yin's story contrasts with War because, while War's environment is more accepting, Yin's experiences reflect the tough reality that many people in the LGBT community face, especially when their own families and friends aren't supportive. It's about highlighting the struggles and pressures that are often overlooked and how these impact individuals on a personal level :)
I also wanted to highlight that everyone deserves a second chance if they have genuinely changed. This is reflected in War's willingness to give Yin another chance despite his past mistakes. Through their story, I aimed to show that redemption and growth are possible and that understanding and forgiveness can lead to new beginnings.
•𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆? For me it is to highlight Yin's emotions. I wanted readers to truly understand his internal thoughts and the pressure he faces. Even though his actions in the early chapters are wrong, I aimed to convey the immense pressure and expectations he's dealing with.
By delving deeply into Yin's feelings, I hoped to give readers a better sense of the internal struggles he endures. I wanted to show that his actions stem from the intense pressure he faces, rather than just presenting him as a flawed character. Understanding his emotional turmoil and the weight of expectations helps to provide a fuller picture of why he reacts the way he does.
•𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲? No, there won't be a next season of Your Name because I wanted to explore a lot of different stories and themes. My early plan was to write a special chapter focusing on Fourth's character as his side is still hanging but I'm currently so busy that I'm concerned I might not have time to do that ;(
