They gathered all of the Warlocks and decided to portal to the hybrid military base in New York to get somewhere quiet first of all. Each one of the hostages required some kind of medical attention, even if it was a pill against the anxiety and shock. At some point in the night, Celia called Magnus to come and help with all of that. The Warlocks did not exactly have much faith in Hybrids after the current events, so a friendly face could not hurt. Most of the SRU soldiers had left to Mexico again soon. They had taken Salomé with them after the gaping wound on her head had been somewhat taken care off. Only Celia and Isaac had stayed behind to keep an eye on the situation and Álvaro was somewhere in the military compound, making sure all of the paperwork was being taken care off. All of the Warlocks were asked to make statements about what had happened. Since this was a mission that the Clave had initiated, everything had to be done exactly by the book. And a potential conviction of the people responsible had to be prepared. Even though everyone involved was dead, except for the person that Celia would have loved to kill more than anyone else tonight. Eileen had been nowhere to be found in the building. Salomé had said that she was there in the beginning, but after Salomé had woken up again, Eileen had been gone.

"So, I guess you guys are actually capable of doing something good.", Magnus walked up to Isaac and Celia, who were sitting on one of the beds in the infirmary.

"Are all the Warlocks back home?", Isaac ignored Magnus' comment entirely. Magnus just rolled his eyes and nodded:

"They are.", he turned to Adriana who was sitting on the bed closest by, "I suppose you can take yourself home?"

Adriana nodded. She opened her mouth to reply something, but when her gaze slid through the room and to the entrance, she gasped.

"Al!", Adriana got up from the bed and quickly walked to the entrance, where Álvaro had walked in. The two of them hugged each other:
"My God, I'm glad you are safe...", Celia heard Álvaro mumble. She raised an eyebrow:
"What did I miss?"

The answer did not come from Isaac, but from Magnus, which Celia had expected even less:
"Oh, those two used to date. It's been a long time since then, but... well, I guess some feelings never die.", he shrugged. Celia's eyes had widened further, Isaac just nodded:

"Don't tell anyone, alright?"

Celia nodded slowly. Her brain was still processing this information.

"This doesn't mean I forgive you guys.", Adriana said, and Celia's head whipped back around. Adriana had let go of Álvaro and crossed her arms, glaring at Celia and Isaac.

"Forgive them for what?", Magnus asked, a concerned look on his face.

"Oh, you don't know yet? They murdered my brother.", Adriana stated.

"Well, I knew he was killed, but -", Magnus began, but Isaac interrupted him:
"You don't have proof.", he snarled.

Adriana scoffed:
"Oh please... I figured it out a while ago. Of course it was the SRU. And I think I know who precisely.", Adriana slowly came closer, "your golden girl over here."

Celia tilted her head to look at Adriana. She was ready to give a response, denying everything. But Álvaro shook his head:
"There's no point anymore, Celia..."

"Celia, I asked you!", Magnus snarled. Interestingly enough, Celia found some sort of disappointment in his expression. She simply shrugged:

"And I answered you.", her voice was completely emotionless. It was better to not show much remorse now. It was better if people had low expectations for her in matters like this. And it worked: Magnus scoffed, but did not say anything else.
