Third POV
"Captain." Nova looks at Kirk with a serious expression as she enters the bridge.
"Did you decode the message?" He asks.
"I seek a private audience with you and commander Spock." Nova mutters to him.
"Spock, come with us please." Kirk turns to Spock. He stands and the three of them make there way to a meeting room.
"How much do you guys trust me?" Nova asks seemingly out of the blue.
"What is this about?" Kirk asks. Nova sighs to herself before entering the meeting room.
"Spock, do you feel comfortable looking into my memories?" Nova asks. Spock's breath hitched a little.
"What for?" He asks reluctant to touch. Spock was scared of this growing feeling, scared that she might feel what he's feeling.
"In order for you to really understand what's happening here you must know the full story. And I'm afraid if star fleet hears, cause you have to know this ship is bugged, I'm scared that it will be bad news for everyone." Nova whispers. Kirk looks at Spock, Spock nods before placing a hand on Kirks shoulder, making sure to touch his skin. Then he hesitantly places his hand on Novas cheek, holding her face. Nova almost flinches as they launch into a memory.
"Captain, I'm not sure about this." Nova looks at Venar.
"Commander, this ship was never heard from again after going to planet Cain. It is our mission to look after our own, is it not?" He says looking at Nova.
"Captain as your commander, chief of security, and as your friend, this mission will be dangerous and we will be disobeying direct orders from Star fleet." Nova says with a frown.
"And does that sound strange to you? Aren't you curious as to why star fleet orders directly conflict with our mission? The distress signal was sent commander, we mustn't do nothing." Venar speaks with clarity.
"Of course Captain." Nova nods her head. Uncertainty fills her heart. They beam down to the planet. They see a crashed ship. They manage to get inside, Nova keeps her sword on hand.
"Captain, we must get to the bridge if we want to find out what happened." She whispers. Venar aims around the ship with his phaser.
"That is my intention.." He whispers back. Suddenly they hear a noise.
"Who's there??" A man cries out.
"I am Commander Wild, where are you?" Nova says stepping in front of her Captain.
"You have to get out of here, it's not to late for you." The man continues.
"Where are you sir?" Nova turns the corner and sees a man bleeding out from his side, she looks down and sees that his foot was bitten off as well.
"Oh goodness..." Nova slips her sword away, she comes down to aid him.
"No you need to leave!" The man refuses help.
"We are here to help sir, we need to know what's going on here." Venar says stepping in front of Nova.
"A star fleet ship coming to save us? It was one of our own who shot us down, now I don't believe you mean any harm and if you truly don't they'll be gunning for you next!!" Nova couldn't believe what this man was saying. This would mean that star fleet is corrupted.
"Sir if what your saying is correct, we must know the full story here in order to provide justice for this fine ship and your crew." Venar looks to the man. His state slowly getting worse. They start to hear a strange sound, but it sounds inhuman.
