Novas POV

I walk out of the office, a pleasing sensation on my lips. Even my hands and fingers. My body was buzzing all over. It was as if he was still there, like his hands were still holding mine. Like his lips were still pressed on mine.

I shake my head promptly. I can't think about Spock right now. I need to meet with doctor McCoy. Today Bones is supposed to clear me. I am technically fully healed, at least thats how I feel. I can't wait to spare again. While I'm there however, he should really look at these medical files. I make my way to med bay with a little pip in my step, at this point I was just carrying my cane.

I go to the physical therapy room waiting for McCoy to arrive.

"Hey kid. Let's see how everything's going." He comes in with a slight sigh. I laugh.

"Long day huh?" I respond.

"Well it's you security people! Everyone's been coming in with scabs and what not trying to prepare to spare you!!"

"Oh man I can't wait, I haven't fought in so long." I cry holding my heart.

"You've been taking it easy right?" McCoy gives me a glare.

"Of course I have." I could feel myself blushing thinking about what happened between Spock and I. We definitely did not take it to easy. Bones looks at me. "What?!" I cross my arms.

"You sure you and Spock haven't-" Bones smirks as I interrupt him quickly.

"Hush you! Besides I'm sure you and Tiva-" he interrupts me now.

"I plead the 5th." Bones says. I tilt my head in confusion. "Oh umm, it just means I won't comment any further on it." I nod after he explains.

"Oh ok, but you guys are doing good?" I smile at him.

"We are going great, but she is one feisty cowgirl I'll tell you that." Bones smiles.

"Yea that's Tiva." I laugh.

"How are you and Spock though really?" I look away shyly at his question.

"I'm pretty sure we are officially a couple now. Or at least we umm. It's kinda weird because you know he's my bond and everything but everything's been pretty tamed until we talked recently." I stammered trying to explain.

"Uh huh, talked." Bones smirks again.

"Yes, talked," I roll my eyes. "It just feels more official now, like he's my, in human terms, my boyfriend or partner." I get excited at the thought. I just want to tell everyone we're in a relationship.

"That's nice, I'm happy for you two. You both deserve it." Bones opens his arms towards me. I smile at the grumpy man as I give him a bear hug. I lift him off the ground and spin him. "Can't breath kid!!" He chuckles.

"Fine." I say putting down. "Before we begin our appointment, have a look at these files for me." I gave him my PADD. After a few minutes of looking he starts to look puzzled.

"Nova, you said these were medical files. These look more like assessments, not like the standard check up you get before joining star fleet or a ship."

"Explain." I say coming around to observe the files with him.

"When I say assessment I mean one you would get for a clinical trial. You see here, these are the requirements for the subject to be entered in the trial. This on the top left indicates if the person is a good candidate or not." Bones points towards a green star fleet symbol.
