Third POV

Spock and Nova look at each other from across the meeting table. There 30 minutes was up.

"Would you like to get started commander?" Nova coughs with a blush still evident on her face. Spock looks at her amused and an adoring look in his eye. Nova rolls her eyes. "Spock come on we need to focus.." Nova leans over and whispers.

"Yes of course ashal-veh.." Spock mutters. Nova sighs shaking her head, Spock chuckles which surprises Nova. She smiles and giggles. Music to each other's ears.

"I'm sure you meant Chief of Security." Nova smiles.

"Yes Chief that's what I meant..." Spock sighs now being more professional. "Yesterday in the lab I made a discovery which could impact our evidence significantly, the issue comes in when I ask the question is this extra laboring necessary or will the evidence we have now suffice. Did you have a similar dilemma with the documents?" Spock asks leaning forward slightly in his chair.

"Yes I did, the medical documents were more like assessments Bones said, one you would use for a type of medical trial. However Bones can't access those documents further here, only at the ship they originated from we can get more information on the trial or rather experimentation. Im assuming for you, the issue raised with the labs you were running?" Nova mirrors Spock's movement, leaning forward in her chair.

"Yes it did, when running the labs I was expecting at most two sets of DNA, instead I was met with several. Each time I looked and got another blood sample I would see something different. I considered going through each one; putting it through the database to find exactly what the creature is. Doing that alone however would take months, and considering the evidence we have now I am not sure if it would be necessary. In hindsight if we do need further evidence, let me express that getting more official documents on the medical trial would prove to be faster and potentially more damming." Spock states.

"But we would be putting our selves in a very compromising position if we do this. If we go to the foreign ship it might go under the radar but finding that ship will be difficult and will look suspicious to star fleet, it would also be slower. If we go for one of our own, we are potentially turning ourselves in and committing a federal crime. If possible we agree we should avoid this?" Nova asks Spock, he looked deep in thought.

"Yes we should..." Spock stands. "Do you feel the Captain should be included in this conversation?" Spock asks raising an eyebrow.

"He should yes, but I figured we could let him know once we are on New Vulcan where we can speak more freely." Nova nods. Spock nods as well. "I'm excited to visit you know, I was hoping you could show me around?" Nova smiles at him warmly. Spock could feel his heart start to race, her smile still having such a affect on him.

"It would be more exploring. I haven't had that much of a chance to look around New Vulcan." Spock has almost a bittersweet look on his face.

"Kepha..." Nova reaches her hand across the table. Spock placed his hand in hers. "Then we will explore together!" She smiles.

"Are we no longer being professional?" Spock raises an eyebrow. Nova chuckles at his question.

"Apologies Commander, permission to hold your hand?" Nova says sarcastically. Spock smiles slightly.

"Permission enthusiastically granted." He mutters. "I would also like to visit your home planet."

"When all of this is taken care of I'll gladly take you there my love, I promise." Nova whispers sweetly. Spock couldn't help the small smile on his face.

"Come here." He says standing up and going around the meeting table. Nova eagerly does the same.

Spock wraps his arms around her waist, hugging her promptly. His face nuzzled into Novas neck and shoulder. Nova returns the hug, wrapping her arms around his neck. Her fingers gently combing through the back of his hair.
