The next thing Meredith hears is a faint knocking sound on a door. Then James cuts her again and Meredith's vision starts to blur because of the pain. When her vision clears James is leaving the room and shutting the door. Then Meredith hears a loud banging noise and then a scream.
A few seconds later someone barges into the room that Meredith is in. When Meredith sees that the person is an officer she stops struggling. "It will be alright Meredith. The medics are on their way. Let me untie you." says the Officer. Meredith nods her head yes.
Once the Lady officer, who introduces herself as Rachel, gets Meredith untied and wrapped in a blanket, she helps Meredith walk out of the room. They go up some stairs and then they enter a couple of rooms, until finally they are outside.
As they sit on the porch, Meredith whispers "Where is Eric."
"Who is Eric?" says Rachel.
"He is my boyfriend. He got hit in the head with a frying pan yesterday morning, before I got kidnapped." whispers Meredith.
"Oh, Eric McClean. He is the one who reported that you were kidnapped." says Rachel.
"Is he okay." whispers Meredith, just before she passes out.
