When Eric and Mr. Dove get to the parking lot, Mr. Dove asks for a ride down the block to where his car is parked at his company. They get into the van and drive down the road.
When they reach Mr. Dove's car, Mr. Dove says bye and gets out. Then he leaves. Eric just sits in the parking lot for a few minutes thinking over a question that has been pondering his mind since the babies where born.
When Eric gets home he tells Mrs. Hodge and Mrs. Dove what the doctor said. Then he helps put the babies to sleep and goes to bed.
After 30 minutes of tossing and turning, Eric gets up and calls Mr. Dove. They talk all night.
