That week Eric brings the babies to the hospital every day. In the spans of 5 days Meredith gets better. On day 6 she gets to go home. After she arrives home, she plays with the babies and spends time with Eric. On the 7th day, Eric goes to work and Meredith takes the babies to go see her mom. By 5:30 PM, Eric calls Meredith.
Meredith answers the phone and says "Hello, Honey."
"Hello, My Love. I am sorry to say this, but I am going to be home late today." says Eric.
"Oh. Okay. I can drop you off some food for dinner." says Meredith.
"I won't be at work. Your father and me are going to go do something with my dad." says Eric.
"Oh. What are you guys going to do?" says Meredith.
"...I don't know? It is my dad's treat?!" says Eric with an unsure voice, that makes Meredith nervous.
"Okay." says Meredith.
After they say their good byes and hang up. Meredith goes back to spending time with the babies and her mom. Eric doesn't come home until 11:40 PM that night.
