As the guy opens the van door, Stefan jumps and tackles the guy, throwing all of his weight on the dude. He bites the guy on the arm and then Damon stabs him in the leg. The guy yells and stumbles backwards and falls. Then Damon, Stefan, and Elena run inside the gas station. They run behind the cash register and hides. Damon wipes off the pocket knife and that's when he sees the cashier and all Damon can do is put a shaky finger to his mouth. Signaling to be quite. The cashier calls the cops and reports them. In a matter of seconds the guy that came into the gas station earlier came to the cash register and pays for some gas then left. He came back shortly after that and asked the cashier if she had seen 3 little kids. The cashier shakes her head no and says that she hasn't. That's when the police arrive. They have to call for back up, but in the end the 2 guys are arrested and the cashier is thanked. Then Damon, Stefan, and Elena got to ride in a cop car all the way home.
