Kaigaku is a demon slayer that Kokushibou has also been training in his free time. Muzan is designing demons to be stronger, maybe that's how Kaigaku quickly rose to the ranks just like Muichiro. Kaigaku is now upper six and Muichiro is now upper five. Kokushibou tells his descendant to be proud of his quick promotion but he can't. He's full of hatred. Kaigaku was just as quick as him, why should he be proud? What made this worse is that, Kokushibou, also praised Kaigaku. It made Muichiro want to gag with jealousy.

His ancestor is paying more attention to a random guy than him.

Muichiro knew Kokushibou longer.

Muichiro stared off into the distance as he watched his ancestor and rival train. He just wants to kill Kaigaku. End him. But it's against the rules. Muichiro scrunched his eyebrows and clenched his jaw. He's trying so hard to stay calm. Staring with nothing but disgust.

Muichiro's eyes burned with a mixture of jealousy and disgust. He never has despised a demon before, even when a demon treats him like a baby. He knew that his ancestor respected Kaigaku, but Muichiro couldn't bring himself to do the same. The training ground was a battle of fierce clashes, and Kaigaku's strength was impressive. Muichiro's fingers twitched with the urge to draw his sword, but he held back, struggling to keep his emotions in check. As Kaigaku demonstrated his powerful breathing techniques under Kokushibo's guidance, Muichiro's grip on his sword's hilt tightened. He felt a storm of conflicting emotions raging within him – anger, jealousy, and a burning desire to kill Kaigaku. "Your technique is improving, but remember to maintain focus throughout the entire sequence." Kokushibo said to uppermoon six. Kokushibo's voice reached Muichiro's ears, but he couldn't bring himself to pay attention. His attention was fixated solely on Kaigaku – his rival.
