"Shinazugawa! Stop for a second!"
"The demon refuses to regenerate!"
Gyomei voice echoed throughout the castle. The strongest uppermoon has been defeated. But Sanemi won't hold back his attacks. Gyomei had to stop him by grabbing the wind hashira from the stomach. "Shinazugawa! It's over!" Himejima shouted once more. Sanemi was unresponsive yet still moving. "The uppermoon one is defeated! The battle is over! It's already done!" These words caused Sanemi to finally limp and relax in his comrade's arms. Genya placed his weapon on the floor and lowered Sanemi down. "It's hard to believe hes still going.." he mumbled.
The stone pillar looked around. "Genya.." he swallowed a lump of spit. "Tokito."

"Himejima.. how is.. big bro?.. and.. Tokito?" Genya was worried about anyone but himself. Gyomei understood why but he wished Genya could show selfishness right now. A big hand was placed on the gunsmith back. "It's alright! We're alive.. Tokito is.. Tokito.." Gyomei looked around once more and he sensed another body but it was slowly disappearing. "I'm fine.. go help.. Tokito.. or.. talk to him.. he's.. a goner." Genya hissed. "Hurry."
Gyomei started to cry. Something he's known for. He sobbed and cried for his disciple. "He's still alive in that state.. ? Is it because he digested the demon?.." Gyomei thought to himself. He moved his hand and placed it on Genya's head. "But the blood loss is taking its effect. Shinazugawa might be a Marechi, but there probably won't be any problem with placing him next to Genya. Gyomei stood up and walked towards Sanemi. Carefully, he picked the white-haired one up and placed him next to his brother.
"Big bro.."
"You're alive.. that's good."
•
"Tokito.. it's because of you.."
"It's because of you.."
Gyomei kept his haori on while he spoke. The body of the younger one has already vanished from the face of the Earth. The only thing left are his black pants and blue kimono. Gyomei felt rage surged through him. It's devastating to believe the demon he just defeated was responsible for turning such a young person into a demon. Ripping his future away without remorse. "It's because of you that we won." Gyomei placed his hands in his lap. "You have my deepest gratitude and respect." A crow flew over next to the pair. The crow had long eyelashes. Gyomei noticed this and was confused. "Who is this? I must announce the death."
