Wings Of Fire: Strange Jade

4- air tight plan

Red flew toward summer palace, a place secret to most but he found it awhile ago. Red had left his two new eggs with Peril and Sky to watch over them. Red landed on the Summer palace, he didn't know how to enter but he could break through, although the eggs were somewhere else far beneath the sea.

Red reluctantly waited for a seawing to notice him as asking one directly would be very difficult. A large seawing with scars all over approached and said "Why are you here, Skywing?" His voice was full of malice and anger, Red replied "I wish to speak to your queen and conduct some business."

The Seawing glared at Red and said "What kind of Business?" Red simply said "I want to buy something from her." The Seawing then said "How can I trust you, you might work for Scarlet or the talons of peace?" Red simply replied "Fair enough, but this is deal is more than worth the risk." The Seawing stared at Red and suddenly two other seawings popped out of the water and said "Sir, we saw nothing on any nearby islands or in the skys."

The seawing then said "Very well, Eel, Seaweed, you can leave." Eel then said "Yes, General Shark." Shark then turned toward Red and said "Fine, but don't try anything." Shark lead him into the palace, Red nearly drowned several times.

Red was soon in front of Queen Coral, king Gill and the council, Red looked up and bowed before Queen Coral and said "It is an honor to meet you Queen Coral." Coral then said "What brings you here, Skywing?" Red emptied his pouch of gold and gemstones and said "I wish to make a deal." Coral looked down at Red and said "What do you want? Protection? A place in our kingdom? What do you want from the seawings?"

Red said "I want to buy one of your make eggs." There was a deafening silence in the room, the Gill said "What. Why do you want one of our make eggs?" Red then said "It's a long story, I'll tell you later, but if this gold isn't enough I can offer my help in other things." Coral then said "Ok, I'll give you one of our eggs for all that treasure and if you are willing to help find my daughter who was stolen by the talons of peace."

Red then said "Ok, I'm already looking out for someone else's dragonet who was taken by them." Coral seemed slightly surprised "Is this the first time you made this deal?" Red said "Yes, as the first time was for help finding another dragon." Coral then said "Shark, gather my male dragonet eggs."

Soon a few eggs were laid out before Red, Coral then said "May I ask why you want one?" Red simply said "I had a friend who can see the future, sadly they died." Coral accepted that answer and Red looked over the eggs and grabbed one that was Green with a few dark Green spots. Red bowed and said "Thank you, Queen Coral, I shall honour our deal."

Soon Red was heading home to Peril, Sky and his two new eggs. The egg in his pouch was smooth and glistening sunlight off it.
