32- Rainwing village

Moon was excited but also worried, she knew Red was hiding a secret from her as they flew towards the rainwing village, but she also knew she and her siblings were going to be severely punished for running off. Moon was listening to a few dragons thoughts the rainwing were excited to be free but didn't trust or like Mastermind and Mastermind was thinking of lots of things, including Red, he had a strange opinion on Red, he thought he was incredible but in a way Moon didn't understand, Moon decided she should ignore it for now.

As they finally landed Moon saw her siblings with a nightwing! Moon was slightly alarmed by this but Red suddenly approach the nightwing and said "Secretkeeper, It's good to see you kept them safe, Moon is over there, I'll let you talk to her before I tell them their punishment." The rainwings quickly disbursed into the village, Red dragged Mastermind away to give Secretkeeper some space to talk to Moon.

Moon could feel the unfathomable amount of joy Secretkeeper felt as she looked at her, Secretkeeper then pulled Moon into a hug, tears fell down her face. Moon was confused but hugged her back, Secretkeeper then said "Moon, I am so sorry I left you out here alone, I should have stayed with you, I'm so glad someone kind found you." Moon's eyes widened as she realized that Secretkeeper was her mother.

Secretkeeper then let go of Moon and wiped her tears away and said "Moon, you grew into a wonderful dragonet, I wish I could have been there to watch. I should go for now, Red seems really upset, but if you ever need to talk to me, I'll be in the hut underneath the sun bathing platform." Moon nodded still trying to process everything.

As Secretkeeper left Moon went over to her siblings, they were all silent as Red stared at them with pure disappointment, Red then began, "Are you seven idiots? You all could have died or worse, do you know how worried I've been!?!?!?" They all were silent with guilt, Red then continued, "But.... I suppose it is my fault for being to protective, so instead of taking you all home, I have decided that we'll stay here." Everyone slightly lost their worry and Kinkajou said "Thank you, Dad." Red grumbled to himself, "Don't thank me, I have noticed how the Dragonets of destiny are here so the war might be coming to a close." Red then whispered something under his breath as if trying to tell them something but also keep it a secret.

Red suddenly flew off before they could ask any questions. Peril then said "We should find a place to relax for a bit, I saw a cave a little bit to the east." Sky shook his head and said "No, caves are way to uncomfortable, also, we should stay close to the raining village." Sky and Peril started arguing, Peril was starting to sound like Red, she was worried about them getting kidnapped by Nightwings again, Moon then said "We should stay in the village, Nightwings only go for lone rainwings outside the village." Peril seemed to think about it and nodded, they quickly went to a more barren and non flammable portion of the village to make home at, Moon could tell Peril was changing, her heart captured and her worries increased, Moon knew Peril would understand that they were all safe soon and maybe she would get Clay to like her back.
