Moon was freaking out when she heard Sky left, but now she was slightly calm now that they were back at the rainforest. Moon could see the rainwing village, it was as colorful as usual, Moon wondered where the nightwings and Red were. As they all landed on a stone floor below a bright pink Rainwing appeared, it was Pomegranate and she said, "Oh, hey, you must be looking for your father and Sky, they're in the night wing village, I'll take you there!"
Peril suddenly said, "Ok, thank you, Pomegranate." Pomegranate smiled and said, "No problem, Red thought you'd be here and told me to keep watch." Pomegranate started to lead them through a wet muddy path where the trees were farther apart, Moon could hear Pomegranate's mind, she was thinking of Red, Moon had figured out Pomegranate, like a few other dragons, had feelings for Red although she was more secretive then most, which was surprising since she seemed like the type to tell everyone everything.
As they entered the dark part of the rainforest where the light was blocked out, the only light shown was from candles and small amounts of sunlight leaking through. Kinkajou looked in awe at the some of the candles that burned different colors, Moon couldn't help but be amused by how fascinated Kinkajou was by the different colored fires.
As they kept walking through the nightwing village, Moon saw their Father and Sky at a small shop, Red was talking to Sky. Pomegranate quickly lead them to Red and said, "Hey Red, I found your dragonets in the rainforest." Red gave a smile and said, "Thank you, Pomegranate." Moon could hear the faint murmurs of Red's mind, it was a confusing and quite place that Moon wasn't used to hearing, but she could hear the murmurs a joy at seeing them and the joy that Pomegranate was such a good friend.
Moon couldn't help but feel bad for Pomegranate, she loved Red but he thought of her as only a friend. Pomegranate then left and Red then said, "Ok, so Sky, would you like to tell your siblings why you left?" His voice was filled with a gentle kindness that was very familiar to Moon as it was the same way he spoke to her when he found out she could read minds and see the future.
Sky looked down and said, "I left because I thought you all didn't care about me anymore and didn't need me..." Winter butted in and said, "Sky, that is foolish, of course we care about you, we've just have been busy and making friends... And whatever Kinkajou does at night when she leaves, but nonetheless, we all care for you, you're our brother." Sky seemed embarrassed and then said, "Sorry, it's just... I'm not used to us not hanging out everyday..."
Peril walked up to Sky and said, "Trust me Sky, no matter how long we don't hang out, we'll all still be siblings." Peril hugged Sky reassuringly. Moon wished she could join but Peril would burn her, Moon could also see that Red wished he could hug them to but once more Peril would burn him. Moon sometimes wondered why Turtle didn't use his Animus magic to make them all immune to fire but Moon knew if she ever brought it up to Turtle or Red she would be met with confusion on how she knew by Turtle or slight disappointment by Red, as Red hated using powers for anyone's benefit and had taught them that Animus magic was dangerous and had even told them of what happened to animus dragons in the skywing kingdom, which made Moon even more relived that Red never followed those rules.
