Kinkajou was so excited, they were going to go explore Pyrrhia all on their own. As their father slept they all quietly snuck out of the room, Turtle leading them to the entrance they came from. Turtle lit up his scales as they went underwater, to show them all the way and any possible air pockets.
They quickly swam through the tunnel getting air whenever it was available. As they approach the end of the tunnel Kinkajou could see the sun light skimming the water, the sun had just started rising. Kinkajou quickly got up on land and shook all the water of off herself, Qibli was the next and he quickly shook himself off and said "I hated that, water feels so weird on my scales." Winter then sat beside Qibli, he looked dryer as he said "If you want to get dry go stand by Peril, the water evaporation quite quickly."
Qibli go sat beside Peril as he shivered slightly, Winter then said "So Kinkajou, where do you think we should go first?" Kinkajou shrugged and said "I don't know, the map of Pyrrhia had so many locations on it, maybe we could visit the Skywing kingdom, dad did come from there, maybe we can also find out about Sky and Peril's parents." Winter nodded and said "I guess that's a good idea, we'll get the most info for everyone."
Winter pulled out a small waterproof scroll, he rolled it out and showed a map of Pyrrhia, he pointed toward the edge where it was labeled Skywing kingdom, Winter then said "We're gonna have to go west, so we're gonna have to go away from the rising sun." Kinkajou then said "Wow, how did you figure that out?" Winter then looked at Kinkajou and said "Dad literally taught us all this, were you not paying attention during any of the classes dad taught us?" Kinkajou shrugged and said "Dad didn't really capture any of my attention with any of his lessons." Winter shook his head and said "I think I now know why you never try to shoot your venom."
Kinkajou was a bit surprised as she said "I have venom?" Winter then said "Yeah, Dad literally told us all this in the lesson on rainwings and the rainwing kingdom, were you not paying attention during any of that?" Kinkajou rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment, she probably should have paid attention to that lesson at least.
Winter walked over to Peril and began talking to her, Kinkajou sat slightly emmbarased still, suddenly Moon approached and said "Hey Kinkajou, don't worry, I didn't pay much attention to the lesson on the nightwing kingdom." Kinkajou smiled slightly and said "Thanks Moon, but we both know that's not true, you love every lesson dad taught." Moon smiled and said "Yeah, I guess your right, but I hate to see any of you not smiling."
Kinkajou smiled as he scales brightened slightly she hugged Moon and said "Same, You're one of the best sisters ever, Moon." Moon then hugged her back, suddenly Peril said "Hey Moon, Kinkajou, we're going toward the Skywing, the sun is almost fully up and dad will instantly notice were gone, we got to go quickly." Kinkajou quickly ran over to everyone else with Moon, they were all ready to explore all of Pyrrhia.
