Kinkajou was excited, Jade Mountain was going to start in four days and she was teaching health and basic biology. Kinkajou was quickly studying all the biology scrolls she could, it was boring but also interesting to learn about the powers of the tribes and that some tribes could have animus magic, specifically Nightwings, Skywings, Sandwings and Seawings.

Kinkajou imagined what it would be like to have animus magic, she would make amazing enchantments to help her and her siblings with their studies and also get more fruits to Jade Mountain, they didn't have many from the rainforest just lying around.

Kinkajou decided to go walk around the Mountain for a bit, she had a strange feeling. Kinkajou slowly walked out of her room, it was midnight, the three moons shone slightly above. As Kinkajou walked down the Mountain she thought of her father, Red, he probably missed them all, he was a big softy. As Kinkajou thought of Red she thought of questions she always thought of, like, 'What exactly did Red do before he started raising them?' or 'What secrets did Red keep from them?' or more specifically, what secrets did Moon know from Red?

Kinkajou had always known that Moon was one of the most trusted of them by Red, Kinkajou sometimes felt jealous that Moon knew more secrets than her, she wished she could have one single secret to herself. Suddenly, Kinkajou slipped and slid down a ravine, she finally stopped at a large open cave, it was so cool!

Kinkajou looked around and saw many Gemstones lining the walls, as she ventured deeper her eyes began to adjust to the dark, she saw a large nightwing with white scales lining their underbelly. The nightwing stared at Kinkajou with surprise, "Well, this is a surprise. Hello, Kinkajou." Said the nightwing, Kinkajou was surprise this dragon knew her as she said "How do you know who I am and who are you?"

The large nightwing the introduced himself, "Well, I am Darkstalker and the reason I know you is because I read your mind."  Kinkajou jumped back in surprise, she thought there were no mind readers. Darkstalker then said, "I know it seems shocking to here but yes, I can read minds. Would you mind helping me?" Kinkajou thought for a minute and nodded, "Ok, what should I do?" She asked.

Darkstalker then said, "I need you to look out for a scroll wrapped in a black case, it holds my animus magic, I need it to escape, now you have to keep this all a secret, many dragons don't like me, do you think you can keep this from even your own kin?" Kinkajou felt excited, this is exactly what she was looking for, a secret of her own that not even Moon knew! Kinkajou nodded and said, "Ok, I'll visit you every few days, we can play games here until I find your scroll." Darkstalker smiled and said, "Thank you, Kinkajou, you should get some sleep, it is quite late and Red wouldn't want you up so late." Kinkajou nodded and quickly left to go back to her room, she would visit Darkstalker later tomorrow.
