Jade
It seems that James has really put a lot thought into his so called "devious" plan. I honestly don't have hope it will be such a good idea but i apparently don't really get a say in this.
He texted me earlier today saying : you won't BELIEVE the plan i came up with last night!
Seriously, why is this guy alway so hyped? It must be exhausting.
I decided to go along with his enthusiasm for once -felt almost bad to spoil the mood with my comments -this early in the morning .
I had texted : omggg u HAVE to tell me ALL about it!! 😀
All he said was : touché Springs, touché, im disappointed 😔
Not gonna lie that had made me laugh out loud and the people around me at the Café actually turned to look at me, very annoyed may i add.
So now im waiting for him to show up so we can elaborate the plan - as he says.
I brought my writing notebook in case i get bored waiting for him. He said he has hockey practice early in the morning and that he'll probably be late. But now i really do hope he comes here faster. People from school have already crowded the place ,and let me tell you half of them aren't really fond of me. Not one day goes by without having at least one person say their opinion about me. Of course that opinion is just based on whatever new rumour Heather has spread about me but at this point i don't really care anymore. I have gotten used to it by the years.
I open my notebook and see that almost all my notes are hanging on the pages for dear life. Some of them almost fall on the floor but i quickly catch them before they can. Whew! That would have been embarrassing.
Right now im working on a rom-com type of book. It's really not even a full story yet it's just character drawings, names, traits and story ideas. Honestly writing has always been my favourite escape. When i write i walk into a whole different world. A better one. One where im not sitting alone in a cafe looking like an idiot, waiting to meet with the person i hate the most. No, in that world im free. I live vicariously through completely opposite to me characters who actually have a life. Wait.. That's low. Even my not real characters have a life and i don't.
As i struggle to get the book shut James strolles in the shop. The door bell tings as he closes the door behind him. He's wearing a plain white beater and a sleeveless flannel with red and white squares over it that shows his perfectly tanned skin and (very muscly arms) , plain baggy pants, oh and can't forget his baseball hat that is always sitting backwards on hia head covering his brown hair . He notices the people from school then immediately averts his gaze on me. I glare at him and he just smirks. Oh boy, he's gonna make a scene isn't he?
As he -annoyingly slowly-walks towards where im sitting ,fifty people have already high fived him, almost twenty girls have practically thrown themselves at him - he finally makes it to my table.
And he doesn't miss the looks people are giving us too as he sits down.
"This was such a bad idea, meeting here" - i play with my necklace - something i do when im feeling anxious - while glancing around.
"What?" -he blinks ."No way, don't be stupid Springs coffe here is the best!" - James scoffs .
"Yeah, i bet it is" - i answer through gritted teeth.
"Okay, come on, what's wrong?"
"Spill" - he urges ,leaning closer over the table .
"Look -we'll even whisper shit like some movie detectives if it helps "
"Nothings wrong, I just - i don't really swoon over crowed spaces" - i shrug, not meeting his gaze.
"Ah still haven't gotten over your fear of people huh?" - he tics his tongue.
