After finally making it out of that closet -and feeling like I reek of sweat while Jade still somehow smells like springtime -we all went to Noah's bar for drinks .
In there we spotted a new friend of the girls .Isabelle was her name i think. Im not good with names okay?
"What can i get for you guys "-Noah's voice catches my attention and I turn to glance at him ,dropping my gaze from the girls who giggle to Isabella about something.
"Im not up for anything actually"-i answer honestly.
"I'll have a martini then"-Xander informs ,clicking his tongue lightly.He looks more nervous than usual .
I kick his leg lightly."You good ?"
"Yeah totally fine -good good " -he rushes ,glancing away from my face.
"Coming right up ,ask the girls what they want until i get this ready"-Noah's voice stops me from pulling out any more information from my best friend as he nods towards the girls.
"Coke please!"-Avery chimes in aproaching the counter.
"You do realise this is a bar right?"-Noah raises an eyebrow.
"If the woman wants coke ,give her coke man"-Xander argues.
Jade gives me a knowing look and i wink at her.
"Please play "bags"by Clairo !"-Jade says cheerfully
"This is a bar Jade ,putting those silly indie songs would actually ruin my reputation"-he blinks repeatedly.
"Hey !""Bags is a classic"-She insists,lightly slapping her hand on his counter .
"What did my polished counter ever do to ya ?" *he squints his eyes ,before flickering her forehead lightly. The small interaction-and the way Jade didn't immediately move away or scrunch her face made something fiery nearly explode in my lungs but I clear my throat and busy myself with my phone.
This is her life -i don't get to complain when I'm the one who fucked everything up.
"Fine ,but only because there's not much people around"-he shakes his head and moves over to the laptop and plays it -the slow music moving over the speakers.
Jade starts swaying and smiling that killer smile of hers before grabbing Isabel's hands and swinging them around in the air
And all i can do is stare at the beauty in front of me.
"Oh i love this song !"-Isabelle speaks up.
Ive never been much of a slow song listener, but knowing this shit somehow shows Jade's carefree side -makes it my favourite song.
"Alright that's enough "-Noah switches the music to a Weeknd song -and I have the urge to punch the guy that's become my friend-when I notice Jade's smile fading .
"Hey!""I was enjoying that!"-Jade hisses.
"Sorry cheery but thats all you're gonna get"
I choke on my spit.There's no way he just called her that.That was my nickname for her.My special nickname.
"And for you?"-Noah turns to the blonde girl who's standing behind Jade.
"Um I'll have coke as well"-she gives him a small smile,as she fidgets with the numerous amount of rings in her fingers .
Noah's stoic expression suddenly changes as his lips form into a grin and he sends the girl a wink,before nodding once and moving over to grab her a soda .
The blonde blushes and the smile never leaves her face.
I look at Jade to see if she notices this too and as excpetced -she makes a heart with her fingers in the air.

After everyone enjoyed their drinks we went over to Xander's huge ass house that you can basically call a mansion.
The maid of the house greets us at the door and I smile politely at Dorothy before she asks if we want anything to eat .Av requests pancakes and Dorothy starts her cooking while we make our way to the screen room which is the room Xander uses to watch movies.Rich people am i right?
I still think watching movies in the actual cinema is a way better experience.
"Alright since last time the girls picked the movie ,we are gonna pick this time "-i announce ,and Xander nods in agreement.
"Thats not fair !"-the girls wine while Isabelle is still busy admiring Xander's house with wide eyes .
"I know blondie ,i know"-i smile at her .
She blinks twice as if me talking to her is strangely out of this world,before she swallows quickly "You're James yeah ?"-her voice comes out as a squeak.
This girl is tenser than my girlfriend.
"The man himself "-i grin ,extending my hand
"Pleasure to meet you"-I give her a smile that I hope ,helps easing her a bit .
"Right i forgot to introduce you guys !"-Jade interupts .
"Guys this is Isabelle "-she points to the blonde
"And Isabelle these are the guys ,Xander and James"
"Nice to meet you guys "-she smiles bright.And for once -i don't make a stupid joke about how we already met -like the asshole -Jade swears her heart on -that i am .
"Likewise "-Xander shakes her hand.
"So what movie are we watching?"-Aves asks,her head slightly turned towards us ,as her legs are already taking up a free seat .I notice my best friend hasn't said anything about his infamous rule of no shoes on those chairs.
"And don't say those action movies you guys always watch"
"Hey!" -"Marvel movies are the best"-i insist.
"You're just mad you can't focus for shit .ADHD ass "
"Fuck off "-Av rolls her eyes ,legs trying to reach my back lightly.
"I hate to say this but i agree with James Av"-Jade says ,suprising me
"Marvel movies are a work of art "
Look at that.My girl being on my side.
"Fine but after that we'll watch a rom-com "-Av suggests."I need to wash off whatever traumatic sight I will be seeing "
